Very entertaining game and satisfying gameplay. Well worthy of the licence. Don't see it on sale very often.

Go get her Ray!

I didn't realise this was actually a good game, ha. Heat

Heat. Gonna buy this

this is not a good game.

IMHO. I should add, WHERE'S THE CO-OP?!

Awesome! Was waiting for this to fall in price!

Great game when I played on PS3, looking forward to playing it again.

You're right, it's a great game.

He slimed me!

Anyone remember the Ghostbusters game on the Spectrum or C64? Quite expensive, more than most at the time. Looked good but the gameplay was flawed and couldn't progress. A waste of money as it turned out. Tempted to get this though for a couple of quid.

same here, completed on PS3 too. the ghost sucking and capturing mechanic was really well done, should have started a new genre by itself

This is a a very underrated game. It has its flaws but for the most part its amazingly well done.

Played it loads on the C64. There was definitely a flaw where you couldn't win unless you bought a specific item (maybe the Ghost Bait you dropped from the car), but still had loads of fun with it.

at this price it would be rude not to :-)

Bought this. Yes it's a good game but I have to say, it's quite a difficult game (on the PC). Only got about 20% of the way through it before I gave up.

used to play the spectrum one all the time u had to get ghost bait and the basic station wagon to start.

heat added and game bought

This game is brilliant, played it through on console and loved almost every minute. The fact they had the real voice actors and they also wrote the script really adds to the whole thing. If you enjoyed the films and you like games, this is a must buy

Buying now, have some heat, many thanks.

+1 for the C64 love.

+1 for the C64 love.

+2, though mine was on the Amstrad. I used to chuckle at the ghost vacuum sucking up the ghosts as you drove to your next sighting. That, and those annoying ghosts that would escape your (only slightly) crossed streams, even though it looked like there was no escape.:(

Great price, have some heat bud Don't forget to check out the weekly competition

I've completed this on PC, and it was decent but not exceptional (definitely recommend using a controller). I'd rate it at around a 7 out of 10 so if you haven't got anything to play right now then it's well worth it for the price. If you have a back catalogue of games on steam that you haven't tried yet, then there's no real compelling reason to add this to it.

absolutely fantastic game! Uses the real voice actors (even Bill Murray returned for it) but doesn't rely on them, the game is good enough that they're just the icing on an already perfect cake.
the chance to explore a few iconic locations is reason enough to buy it at this price, it really is a brilliant game, shame it isn't more well known, maybe it could have spawned a sequel or at least expansion

This is my worry with pc gaming. Deals are so cheap you end up buying things you never expected to buy or wanted, buts its the ghostbusters so whatcha gonna do?

This game is considered by fans to be "ghostbusters 3". Not played it myself tho.

shak

I had it on the amstrad too. I used to load it up just to listen to the music. Don't think I had much idea how the game was meant to be played but it just sounded so good. I do remember freaking out when the marshmallow man appeared though.

Will be getting this, thanks Gemsa.

There's a glitch in windows 8.1 that bombs the game if you start it with a wireless 360 controller turned on. turn the controller off, start game and then switch controller on.

God yeah, had both 1 and 2 on C64. The first one was so much fun. I remember buying Ghostbusters II with the big box and skipping home only to find I couldn't work out how do descend down the manhole without something biting through the rope D:

PS3 version was horrible to control. I haven't got past the hotel lobby, which is first stage, simply because of the control system.

Blasphemy!

Pity it needs a controller to get the best out of it ,so it's a pass for me.Would have liked to give it a whirl , heat for the deal .

Glad im not the only one who never had a clue what the aim of the game was on the C64. Still played it loads despite not having a clue how to play it properly!

"If someone asks if you are a god, you say yes!"

Purchased thanks I have been waiting for this to be cheap

I remember the classic film samples in the Speccy and C64 versions *crackly*"he slimed me"

Pretty good game really. Shame they decided not to add co-op to the PC version though. Single player is worth this price.

Great game, completed it on the 360 but going to have to play it through again on the PC! Thanks op, heated and purchased.

Just went to see Ghostbusters today in my local cineworld. Apparently its being screened all over the country today!

+3 for C64 love.
I remember throwing my joystick ;-) across the room on more than one occasion trying to get past Mr Stay Puffed.

silly me.. I assumed I was going to be sent a disc!!!

no wonder there was no postage!!
