2016 version of the Giant Contact SL dropper seat post with cable remote. Comes in 100mm, 125mm or 150mm drop versions for the same price. Only in the popular 30.9mm diameter, but you can always shim.

Unlike the previous version of Giant Contact, the 2016 version has 2 bolts fastening the seat as well as 125mm and 150mm versions being available. The post can be wired internally or externally to the remote.

I've not seen any "official" reviews, but Giant has good rep/warranty and user reviews in this thread are good bikehub.co.za/for…e-1
EDIT: reviewed by MBR, rated 9/10 mbr.co.uk/rev…iew

Why do you need a dropper post for your mtb? Answer:
youtube.com/wat…C8g

The site says that 125mm is in stock, while other sizes are "available to preorder", not sure how long the preorder would take, but probably no more than 3 to 5 days?

PS Got myself a 125mm

Wow, just watched that video, I had no idea this technology even existed! 0:47 is the jaw dropper!

I could get a Reverb hydraulic one, but got scared by the high maintenance cost stories from users (official reviews tend to be glowing).

Damnit! I've been holding off on posting this - I want one, can't afford it this month, wasn't going to post this up here and have it go out of stock! I guess you've forced my hand, got to order it now.

Haha, sorry mate The 100mm was in stock yesterday when I bought my 125mm, today it shows "available for preorder", which sounds better than "out of stock"... Hopefully the demand will be met

They are a great bit of kit, only problem I have had is the cable kinked as they guy I bought the bike from left the cable too long, trimmed it and bled ( really easy ) offical bleed kits are expensive but epic bleed solutions have cheap kits ( also have them for brakes )
