Lightweight Aluxx (Aluminum) Frame

Seems like a great bike for the price, with Shimano 105 gearset.

They have a disc version with Tiagra for the same price should you want discs.

Wonder what will we call that post brexit?
This is my commuter/winter bike, famtastic at this price. I changed the rear cassette, you could climb up a wall with the 34/34 ratio on this as it comes

don’t suppose you still have that 11-34 sitting around? I have the 2018 model of this bike, it has 11-32, living in Yorkshire I’m wanting to switch it for 11-34 😄
Good deal by the way, my 2018 version of this model has been solid, really enjoyed the year using it. Purchased from the same retailer who provided great service before and after sale, answering any uncertainties I had while setting the bike up. Heat.

The difference between 32 and 34 is negligible. If you can't get up a hill (even up to 25 percent) on 34-32 you should probably get a mountain bike!

I do, but in a few years I might be grateful of it..... as others have said a 34 - 32 should get you up a brick wall
Very good frames on these. They are mainly 6011 for the main tubes (main triangle) with I think 6061 for stays and maybe headtube. Considering many big brands don't even offer an advanced aluminium in their range, they often feature 6061 across the range although often give it a fake marketing name to make it sound better but Giant are offering such advanced aluminium sub £1,000. I think its the SLX which is full 6011 (possibly remembered wrongly). Giant also provide high weight limits and a lifetime warranty. However we are only a month or so away from end of season sales where discounts can get very generous but of course that is only the bikes that have been left on the shelf so to speak, very popular models may have sold out before the sales.

I was really grateful switching up from a 32 to 34 (1:1) on "The Fred" during hardknott and other 30% sections and up the Mortirolo (different ride obviously)
Otherwise it provides me little benefit the rest of the time.

30% is crazy. I think I'd need a motor for that.

That's the beauty of 34x34. You would be able to get up almost anything. Just don't stop and put your foot down on the steep stuff!
Any ideas on how the sizing works on dever website I’m 5ft 7in with 30 inside leg so unsure which size to go for
