I've always liked Giant bikes had loads through the years they always seem to offer best value for money.
Looking at a fast city hybrid with a decent spec and can't seem to beat this, went over to my LBS and they couldn't believe the price.
Nice Tiagra set up with Shimano hydraulic discs.
Use code SAVE50 for this price.

Yes, next cheapest I could find was £799.99 at Pauls Cycles, so if you're in the market for one does look good.

I'd like to think that's a joke or political statement - but I fear it's real?

I don't pay my taxes to help someone else buy a bike way beyond my price range!

I always feel a bit guilty looking in my LBS then buying online, but always tell them if they can match the price I'll happily buy from them, but unfortunately they don't seem to be able to.
Think this will be good will update when it arrives next week.

Very nice,

25mm tyres are a bit skinny for a commuter for my liking. maybe you could ask for thicker.

I think 25 should be about right considering this is a sports hybrid, run 25s on my single speed and carbon bike now, seem to be right for me.

fair enough. i see the bike will take 28mm tyre . from my experience, the thicker tyre gives much comfier ride. your much less likely to get pinch punctures. especially on crappy road surface.
If i were to recommend a commuter. i'd definitely go for at least 32mm tyres.
you can't have a sports bike with flat bars
she's a good looker mind
