Now further reduced to £1399.99 (thanks robo989).

Not the cheapest electric bike out there but very good value for the high specification from a well repected manufacturer. 33% off (medium only available) as it's the 2017 model (who cares?). Similar bikes are well over £2000 (as this was). Would be great as a serious commuter bike.

  • Aluxx frame
  • Mid drive
  • 60Nm 250W motor
  • 36v, Li-ion battery
  • Hydraulic disc brakes (Tektro)
  • Shimano 9 speed gears
  • 40mm travel front suspension
  • Integrated lights
  • mudguards

Free build and delivery or collection.

Lol laws were made to be broken

I've got some library books that are 2 days overdue, and I once went to a self service checkout, took a 5p bag but press '0' when it asked how many bags I had. Heart was pounding and palms sweating but thats how I roll. Live life on the edge.

It may be helpful to others if cold voters would post their reasons - thanks.
Shame electric bikes are crippled by the 250w legal limit in UK, far more relaxed in the US. Good price though.

If you're a bit of a loose cannon who doesn't play by the rules (like me), you can get something like this halfords.com/cyc…mes and stick on a BBSHD and 12ah 30q samsung 48v battery and get change out of £1500. About an hours work with a spanner and a bit of soldering.

Careful though, its a monster

I ride a Haibike and the 250W is not much a problem. When you look at the battery voltage and the amps being used the motors are actually giving much more than 250W power , its the 15mph cut off that annoys me the most, it was due to the UK staying inline with EU yet they still have speed pedelecs that can go faster.
This bike not getting much in the way of warm votes so I'm expiring it to reduce clutter. Shame as I think it could be a good buy for the right person. Would still be good to know what people don't like about it though: 30% off a packet of cornflakes would probably get hot!

Have you tried a bafang bbshd with 52v battery? Doesn't really compare to haibike or any of the bosch motors as it's many orders of magnitude more powerful. It's basically a motorbike.

No one likes a grass.
Someone (Mod? Ed?) has unexpired this and removed the expire button! Odd.
this bike looks interesting

does anyone know if a bike trailer would fit to this and how it would perform with a trailer attached

It has a conventional frame so a trailer should fit and plenty of people use trailers on ebikes. Within reason top assist speed should stay the same.
cool ok - might have to get one then thansk for the update
Now out of stock but my 'expire' button has disappeared!
