For the uneducated you're taxed on your emissions!

Bike are in the same tax bracket as low emission cars and are taxed the same, £0 year. My insurance is roughy £30 a year. and to top it off my bike is worth about twice as much as my car! And more than a lot of other cars on the road.

Of course most cyclists also own cars too, including myself. I also have insurance via British cycling.

I never ride on cycle paths ever round here due to the fact they are badly maintained and unfit for road bikes - if you're going quickly, as I do, they certainly aren't practical. Luckily the use of cycle paths isn't compulsory.

Cycling brings the added benefit of being good for the body and mind... you sound like you could do with a bit yourself!

Got one myself but I cycle on dedicated cycle paths, meaning I don't get in the way of motorists.

Riding 2 sometimes 3 a breast - Disgraceful..........Should be runover.

Continuously slowing traffic down.

Undertaking, then complain when passenger opens car door.

However when new roads are being built, I'm a big advocate for wanting an additional width of tarmac (approx 3 mtrs wide) to accomodate cyclists. This means that BOTH the cyclist and motorist can go about their business in safety.

Until then....stay off the bloody roads ---pests.

Many places don't have cycle paths. Or very poor ones. With cars parked on them. So don't cycle until there is?

It's still based on emissions? Engine size. What about a cyclist leg width? Stomach?

Staying off the road isn't an option. But let me ask you. If you had to cycle somewhere that has no cycle path. Would you use the road or just not go there?

Who the hell has deleted all my comments ? And why ?

Dunno not me, awesome bike btw far better than the rating, £600 worth of carbon wheels my pro 1 is 7.1 kg dead without pedals and comfortable ride, so this likely to be about 7.5kg.

Be careful of the supplied tyres this time of the year tho, they dont have the best grip... Lol skidded off on a bend last weekend
