Yeah, you wouldn't want to be seen by other road users I suppose
    Troll.

There's plenty of people riding black bikes safely. Lights, reflective kit, bike colour is largely irrelevant and isn't going to save you from falling victim to a car.

yeh, I wear full black kit. No problems so far. Make yourself known. ride in the middle of lane all the time.
    Hot Hot!
Nice! Shame the sizes are limited.
Best bike for under £700 you'll find
    That's a steal for £699 - well done!
That is a lot of bike for the money, don't think you'll get a better spec at the price, well spotted, had a few bargains from Paul's in the past, good company.
Was really hoping they didn't have my size..............;)

    Nice...
These tend to come up quite big and long so make sure it will fit you.
This is a nice frame but with entry level kit. Don't get fooled by the price reduction - £700ish is what this type bike should retail at. I'm not saying it's not a nice bike, or not good value, but think you'd get more for your money elsewhere - Planet X had a Campagnolo equipped full carbon frame for similar money this week.

    Sizing chart here.

If you're under 5'11", size L is gonna be too big you, even though it's 55.5cm frame.

£703 is not under £700, if I recall my junior school maths.

I would much rather go for a Giant frame with lesser kit than a Planet X with better kit. Planet X frames are very average.

this is a good price...I paid this for a trek 1.5 with similar spec but only has carbon forks... not a full carbon frame...throw in its from one of the best cycle manufacturers out there and its heat from me
Bargain!!! Would you choose this or the Boardman Pro Carbon 2014 (£1299 version)? Not taking price into consideration, just the bike itself. Many Thanks

    Depends on the price...
    The Boardman has better components.

and i still stand by my comment.

I'd still choose the Giant any day over anything Ribble sell as they're the worst company i've ever dealt with hands down!

    Avoid Ribble no matter what

Best thing to do. Buy her something nice or take her out somewhere. Be spontaneous and then after a passionate night, the next morning, yes, oh by the way, I've just bought a new bicycle but it only cost £715.
