Exactly! Now a wine glass that holds 2 bottles of wine... there's a useful invention!

Terrible idea. Way too many units. Sober up.

Great idea. Saves me putting on the kitchen light when I go to fill up thus helping the environment.

Gutted if you knock this over! :-D

Imagine a full bottle of red over your new carpet...

The glass would be shoved so far up I could lick the dregs...

Ok, I can understand solvents and knives. But now under 18s can't buy a glass because they might put alcohol in it? Presumably they can't buy a fridge either for the same reason?

It's actually not such a stupid glass. Most wine glasses are far too small - you're not supposed to fill them to the brim but only 1/4 - 1/3 fill it so the bouquet can build up in the space. That's how I drink my Buckfast.

^ lol ^

I much prefer an Oak aged bottle of Eldorado. :whistling:
(Just it tends to make the cornflakes too soggy)

What is this country coming to......... surely they must be having a laugh!
You can get on a moped and drive around like a lunatic at 16, but you cant be trusted to buy an empty wine glass at 18, just about sums this country up!.

Better to buy a good Riedel wine glass

As far as I'm aware there is no law about this, so it's down entirely to Argos deciding to make it 18+ only.
