Giffgaff for Blackberry coming 24th November- Prices from £8

Just a heads up folks, Giffgaff for Blackberry is coming this month! It's an extra £3 on top of your Goodybag for Blackberry Services such as BBM, so you could get unlimited texts, unlimited internet, 250 mins + Blackberry Services for just £13 a month on Pay As You Go. Should work with all goodybags, although, according to the link, the £5 goodybag is suffering a hiccup but if not released at launch, it should be released very shortly after!

---

"As you know from the 24th November giffgaff will offer Blackberry services, which have not been possible on giffgaff previously. These include Blackberry Messenger, Blackberry (push) e-mails and Blackberry Internet. Pretty exciting changes for all of us and something we’ve all been looking forward to for a very long time."

"As always with giffgaff we try to make our products very competitive and this one is no different with the Blackberry add only costing £3 (in addition to the cost of the goodybag)."

I love Giffgaff, gradually converting my whole family to the network. Has already saved me a fortune with its unlimited data alone on its Goodybags.
Me too, wish they would bring down the prices of their data packages that include tethering. I don't want to go to another provider with patchy service to do that.

Same.

Really are a good network and always "bring it"

This is excellent news and I know someone who will benefit from this
Im sure the hood rats will be pleased :P
dont forget - 10mb/day international roaming for bb services too.
I'm one of the beta testers for the GiffGaff BB services, testing it now, everything's working well, will definately be worth the money.
Should hopefully spark abit of a price war as all networks have got away with charging a fiver for as long as I can remember.
great news. have been really happy with giffgaff and this was the only thing they didnt offer-will def check it out. ive been using their suggested alternatives, which have worked well, but would like to play with the blackberry!!

Nice one.. Thanks for the heads up....
wish gg would do a goodbag inbetween the £5 and £10 ones.. i.e. some minutes (maybe 100 to 200?), unlimited txts, but no data. for those still on old phones etc.

To those looking to go on Orange:

I moved from giffgaff to Orange because of having to put up with reception problems on O2's network for over 9 years. (Giffgaff runs off O2's network).

Was missold a contract by Orange. Customer services were pathetic and I would never recommend the network again to anyone. Think thrice before you decide to take out a contract with Orange.

Have now come back to giffgaff. Their customer service is excellent. Okay, they do have a few hiccups from time to time (mainly to do with online services) but overall top for price and service.

A happy 'giff
Grrr, I hit the submit button by mistake.

My prevoius post was supposed to end with:

A happy "giffgaffer'!
Oh by the way. With giffgaff you are not locked into a contract as it runs off a PAYG system but with the advantage to add a "goodybag" bundle.

Finally, if your mobile does get stolen then as far as I know, you will only lose the amount of credit that you have in your account and not potentially thousands of £££.

I agree

you say "...... Includes all these features" ok please enlighten us all on which "normal" handset includes BBM?

Joined GiffGaff last month, very impressed TBH

Their definition of unlimited is 500mb per month.

I don't see how t-mobile are allowed to advertise it at unlimited when it's limited...

On another note, excellent deal by giffgaff.
GiffGaff is great. Have to buy a Blackberry now.

Giffgaff and Tesco piggyback on O2.
Great price if you don't want a contract. If I wasn't on a Vodafone package that has slightly more minutes and worked out at £5/mo after quidco, I'd probably jump on it!
My daughter will be very pleased
WTF with you all guys- I kept mentioning this just over 1 zillion times... People who call Giffgaff make a real gaff on their bills as whether your caller has inclusive minutes or not, they get charge ard errrr 20-24p/ per min.... WAKEY WAKEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Soo excited, been waiting for this! Soon as my contracts up I'm switching to GG

good news, really wanted to avoid voda and contracts. I guess Amazon is the most reliable supplier of a new, unlocked Bold 9900?

Agreed - Strong supported of Giffgaff and have recommended lots of people despite not using it myself. Am still on the Tmobile £7.50 a month deal which is for me is a stronger deal although appreciate there is a 12 month tie in.

Can you explain in English what this means? Are you saying calls to giffgaff phones get treated like (say) 0845 numbers, they're not part of other networks' inclusive minutes? Can you tell me where it says this?

Does that include Blackberry services? ISTR that's an extra £5 a month.

For those of you who aren't versed in the ways of Blackberry, their services are a little different. This is not normal email / messaging services - everything goes through the Blackberry servers which then pushes onto the phone. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about....

electronics.howstuffworks.com/bla…htm

As a Blackberry user and an Android owner, the Blackberry for me is a business tool that allows me to get calendar and email updates as well as BBM. The Android is for the fun stuff. Both are adequate as phones.
Meh I pay £3 anyway for my blackberry internet
