They say that we can now use giffgaff goodybags when travelling in the EU.

So from Bognor to Budapest, from Hull to Helsinki, from Glasgow to Rome, we can use our minutes, texts and data like we do at home.

I think it is aa good deal

For more information on Roaming, take a peek

for all the details

I hope it is a good deal for travelers

As an example: 2 GB internet, 500 munites and Unlimited texts is £10 in roaming
Unlimited data, call and text are £20 in roaming

Glasgow to... Rome? You couldn't have kept the alliteration going? Gdansk? Geneva? Gothenburg?

All inclusive minutes texts and internet on any bundles with any carrier now work in the EU for free in the same way, not just gift gaff. If you're on contract already you can use your allowance in the EU with no roaming charges
Free roaming for all uk networks in EU it may change after UK leaves. For now you can use your allowance in EU without extra charge.
please stop posting these as deals, its not a deal or even something that phone companies are doing out of the goodness of their heart its because the EU have forced them too. and they had years of telling us they could not afford it. GG on the other hand have made millions in profit for their parent o2, and tell customers that they will throttle them to death on speeds, they have lost so many customers because of this but some will stay because they are GG. Only at GG can you get 2Mb speeds at 4G when others were giving 15+ on 3G.
and as used to with them, roaming data is slow as fu*k

thanks for your comment I was not know that
But u can't call the EU country you are in using your minutes, it will be extra, unless your plan includes calls to EU countries.
You can now get cheaper contracts with more allowances.... why are these still in business ?
Worst network! Dropped calls! Missed calls! Disabled mobile data! Signal problems! The list goes on.....
i was going to go with giff gaff as im out of contract and going away for a month soon, can any 1 recommend better without contract? thanks

Congratulations, you have been BUSTED!!

I'm on Giffgaff, and having been on Orange, EE and Vodafone in the past, as well as knowing people on O2, I can safely say Giffgaff is far BETTER than them.

Giffgaff is probably the best network in the UK right now, and offers great prices. For example from the 23rd August the £18 Goodybag comes with 9GB of data.

As well as the great prices there is no contract, so you can pay as little or as much as you want depending on how much you use your phone each particular month. Also able to top of with normal credit if you like, which is a good option for calling abroad - I can call mobiles in Indonesia for 6p a minute.

As for your slow 4G, I can debunk that as absolute nonsense. I get lightning fast 4G on my phone. I have just done a speed test in fact, after seeing your amusing post - I currently have 20.8Mbps download speed and 10.2Mbps upload, with a 6ms latency to server in London. That is not slow by any stretch of the imagination.

Anyway, thanks for your post, made me almost spit out my beer.
