Right - so with a little more information, Scan appear to be announcing a price drop from the 1st November...

Perhaps the OP could better spend their time writing a clearer post?

It came up fine on my screen just letting others know of a good deal out.
Am afraid it's an issue your end looks fine my end. Even the Amazon links works with a similar price.
I can’t remember the last time I bought something from scan. They used to be my go to place on a very regular basis for I.T equipment but it seems that they just can’t compete anymore.

Scan change their prices weekly, so the offers will change again on 1st Nov. To get the card at this price you need to google Scan Today only, then click on AMD deals, and you will be able to buy at the cheaper price.
I'm on the look for a new card and only considering the 1070 and vega 56, should I also be considering this?

I'm only gaming on a 2560x1080 60hz monitor.

I would say it isn't good enough for your needs. The Rx 580 is sweet spot for 1920x1080 so your above that.
Rx590 is £177 @ccl

Cheers mate. That clarifies what I need, I was getting really confused with the options.

Do you know what would be a good price point for the rx580?
Even 580 is a bit low for you. As you said you need 1070/vega 56 both can be had below 200 used. Vega still going just above 200 new.

Prob aim for sub 160 for an 8gb Rx 580. Although at this point it really would make more sense to try aim for a 590 or Vega 56
Thanks both, I'll keep the search on the 1070 and Vega 56. Good to know I was looking in the right area.
MI = mining edition. No support from Gigabyte only the retailer. Seems too much for an RX 570 even if 8GB.

No, the rx570 is significantly slower than the cards you list. The Vega 56 at around £200 seems to offer the best price to performance. Don't confuse this with the rx5700 which is a much better card.

I thought the mining edition was cut back on some display outputs too?

My Vega 56 when undervolted and overclocked runs at GTX 1080 levels it's great for price/performance.

Depends on the manufacturer. Gigabyte is the same but has really short warranty. Sapphire mining cards had single DVI and there were some nVidia P106 (?) cards with no putouts.

Which Vega 56 are you running?

Which Vega 56 are you running?

Sapphire Pulse. Running at 1600 core /950 memory at 1.00v with fan speed at 50% keeps temps under 65c.

Averaging 80-100fps at 1440p on cod mw.

It has Samsung HBM too so if ever I needed to I can flash V64 BIOS for an extra 15% performance or so.

Thanks so much for that info, gives me confidence in the boost and temp.

No worries I think the sapphire Pulse is one of the best v56s. Get it from OCUK as most of theirs lately had Samsung hbm

Do you think it's worth the £299 price tag on OC?

No not yet. Rx 5700 is like 330. It comes and goes on offer at 250 I think

Thanks! I'm in a bit of a bind. A guy has given me a offer of £200 on a Vega 56 Pulse second hand, used 6 months. Should I go for the deal you've mentioned or the second hand pulse?

I'm worried about the normal Vega being too loud?

So long as it's working take the pulse. Bonus if it's got Samsung hbm
