Objectively, despite less ram the gtx 1660 is usually a better card for now but looking through the prism of how long Nvidia actively supports their product, I wouldn't be surprised if within a year, the rx was faster (see current performance relationship between gtx 1060 and rx 580 or Vega and gtx 1070).

I would still rather buy AMD as giving money to Nvidia is like handing a knuckle duster to a person that is punching you.

That's an old reddit thread but nothing has changed, Nvidia remains the same shady business with millions of blind followers, just like another Apple Inc. ripping their customers off, violating their rights, pretending they care about their customers and technological advances whereas factually, it's only the money that counts.
