Bargain, was it a warehouse deal or brand new?

£499.99 is the cheapest it’s ever been on Amazon. Unlikely you will get a price drop this year..

I have this too and was wondering if yours is detected in games and by your Xbox as a 4K monitor? I always have to change the resolution back to 1440p if it tries to auto optimise.

I’m I’m about to buy one of these are you saying you have problems swapping between PC and Xbox as I plan to use it for both too

They have a pre-shipping dead pixel check for £15 if you are inclined
Been reading a fair bit about this monitor and although it claims to be a 1ms response time it’s actually closer to 8ms!!!!

This is because the 1ms refers to a measurement which differs to the standard change from white to black

Or just return it to Amazon if it gets one for free

You should never trust the response times listed by a manufacturer, them embellishing the truth isn't exclusive to this one. Reviewers are who you should look at.

Regardless if response time is your primary concern then you'll want to go gsync or a TN panel. No freesync ips 144hz panel cleanly hits the response time requirements for 144hz at the moment. Aorus hits it on its fastest overdrive but that introduces overshoot if the fps drops when freesync is on.

The new LG 27GL850-B may change this but the price is unknown in the UK, as is the release date here. In the US its 500 dollars but a retailer in Sweden had it listed for 600 euros so its possible Europe may be getting gouged on the price in comparison.
The LG does look good. Hmm
Any idea of a release date for the LG
LG available for pre-order at Overclockers for £449

Cant imagine their customer service would be as good as Amazon and with backlight bleed and dead pixels on monitors it's not worth the risk imo.
