Yeah but either way don’t get a stock 1660 ! Suppose the super is new but was hoping for a BF deal and there has been diddly so where some ti’s have come down they start to look VFM again
Anyone know which after market Nvidia cards I should be going for. Seen that 2060 super MSI one for £331 plus cod 2019 so probably like £295 if I sell it. Buy don't know if it's a crap card, ie loud and crap thermals. Same goes for 1660 ti.
Scan are still selling the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 ARMOR 6G OC which is an overclocked GTX 1660 running slightly faster than this Gigabyte graphics card 1845MHz compared with 1830MHz, everything else is practically the same except for a lower price £179.99+£5.48 del so it is about a fiver less. eBuyer have the Zotac for slightly less again at about £178.xx I cannot remember how many pence it was. Amazon have the same MSI card at £179.99 delivered but it is specifying a wait time before delivery. They did that with a kettle I ordered and then delivered it in less than a week.

The Supers do not offer enough for the higher price for what I will be using it for ie not gaming.

You can get the Zotac 1660 for £161 with 20% off ebay code: hotukdeals.com/dea…669

Amazing deal. You can overclock it to near 1660 ti levels.
Quick upgrade question, im looking either a super or ti of this to replace my 970 after Christmas. Would the power connections be the same?

Just in case i have to dig out that box of leads and cables.

Yeah. Your 970 (depending on the brand) is almost certainly using one 8 pin cable. This’ll be the same. I’ve gone from an Asus GTX 970 all the way up to an RTX 2060 super and that had the same power cable. This is a much less hungry card than that.
Thanks for your reply. Makes it all the more tempting

The Ti has more cores, but Super has higher memory bandwidth. In practice they seem to perform nearly the same, one sometimes pulling ahead of the other depending on game by a few frames per second.

If the cooling solution is identical I would personally just go with whichever is cheapest of the Ti and Super.
