You can (eventually) get free shipping on £25+ orders (?) if you are a Hexus UK forum regular contributor. I am and recommend the forums but please stick with them if you do go for this. Scan have been very generous with Hexus on this for a good number of years.
Good price if you need the IPC improvement over the better value (generally) threadripper options.

2 words... Coffee Lake!


Decaffee Lake more like as it tops out at 6 cores versus 18 for this plus the platform is getting a second range of compatible CPUs unlike CL which is a dead-end.
Plus all the extras on this platform make it more of an Irish coffee.
Over the top for mainstream users though
