Almost £100 for some lights? No thanks!

Please let me know where to pick up 2x8gb of DDR 3200Mhz RAM for £50.

Ok I did say "almost" but maybe it was a slight exaggeration.

amazon.co.uk/dp/…53/ x 2 = £73.98

So sorry I'll rephrase it. Double the amount for some RGB lights?

Great price, I wish I needed new RAM

RGB makes your PC run twice as fast, if you don't know this then you clearly don't know computers
Worth noting this is Samsung B-Die so should overclock well an all that jazz hence the price.

Should do, but then I'd rather just buy the better binned stuff like:

...then that comes full circle back to your protesting comment about paying twice the price for RGB memory!

Priceless
Thats one weird logic, have heat spreaders mounted onto the modules to speed up heat transfer and have led lights that generate more heat that passive radiator can handle slapped onto same moduls

To make things worse we have this dummy memorys with led lights, those not only generate some extra heat but also deteriorate air flow around real ram modules

Agree. That's utterly ridiculous. Who builds a gaming pc only to stare inside the case? Did they blow the monitor budget on flashing ram?

Not really, if we are talking about higher binned Samsung IC's then fair enough. But these are not, they are only guaranteed for 3200mhz with poor timings.

So you can either buy these with a CHANCE to overclock a decent amount orrrrr you can just buy the ones that are already pre-tested and known to work at high speeds.

Funnily enough I have RGB RAM... lol, but I wanted the higher speeds and I know it is a tremendous waste of money. I certianly wouldn't think it was a good deal.
RGB is for dorks
This is a cracking price for this RAM and isn't far different from Corsair Vengeance Pro when you also add two fake sticks as well on Amazon.

Heat because B die too
