Got this with the x570 deal last week. Seems well built, no issues. Guess they’ve got a lot of excess stock to get rid off!
TBH i will never buy gigabyte kit again.. their customer service is TERRIBLE! I have 3 tickets open with them and no reply in 4 months... its impossible to join their forum too as they dont send the 2nd email to approve you to post!

Why would you need customer service?
Faulty part?
I got the TX550M instead of this

why buy a 5 year warranty item if the customer service is crap?

Gotta make sure it's got a floopy connector.
We had this discussion a week ago.Its the sort of unit I would buy to run an old r9 390 or something, but dont buy one for a new parts rig, gigabyte wont replace your parts if you get a faulty unit and the customer service is almost non existent.
Pretty decent PSU for the price, I think this is the GH series as per PSU tier list psutierlist.com/

Everytime I've contacted Gigabyte support, they've always replied.

If anything the opposite is the case with nobody working in China at the moment - would you honestly like to get a PSU that could give you the Cronavirus...

Thats a pretty inaccurate list. Even a quick look shows some good units in tier D and D+.And some junk in B.
I wouldnt trust a list put together by contributors to Linus tech tips.

Is there a more accurate list or somewhere to check against

Not any more.Tom's used to be good but they stopped it . You have to research any unit you consider and check it against the Johnnyguru site (oklahoma wolf reviews, particularly hot box testing ,ah you will see) or even Kit Guru does god reviews now . Gamers nexus has just tooled up..
Newegg have better one, forgive me I'm running out the door but I will tell you more later, but quick examples of list fail are XFX TS and Core, Seasonic S12ii all great units , the riotoro enigma g2's are fantastic, the 2012 CX line are tier D, the 750 version more so.. i will say more later.
(but this unit is the cwt platform enermax rev. xt i believe about entry level.)

More 'details' of examples; (and variance before 'community forums' catch up)
kitguru.net/com…ew/
This is a seasonic focus in a fully modular shroud sett up. This jonnyguru.com/blo…/5/)
is a great wall version , probably an earlier attempt shipped to the states with 2 short life crappy non essential capacitors, a crappy fan and half the warranty so the trick there is to look at the operating temp and warranty.
(50C case temp / 10 years from a known older brand preferably for tier '2')
(The 'contributors' at Linus tech tips havent bothered since and get caught out but thats only a small part of the problem which is they will just buy what Linus says is great and post about it, which is sorta why you get old CX units recommended when they are poor )
These sites I reference are the goto really, tier lists dont keep up cos manufacturers bait and switch too often and genuine changes happen.
(Like the NEW CXm line -2017 onwards- is great cos jonny gourow took over at corsair so the bronze unit is fine for 50 quid in a cheap gamer rig)
There are a coupla other people on here know whats what, so basically ask/ research against your tier lists to avoid bad buys.
