Like what? All add-on cards use 1x/4x connectors, and not full slots.

Were you being sarcastic lol?

Multiple graphics cards, some RAID cards, I expect there are plenty of specialist cards as well that while they might need x16 speed do need the full length slot.

Sli/crossfire are dead. Raids as well, since nvme. Specialists use TR4 or x299 platforms

I never said SLI / crossfire. PCs are used for more than just gaming, and for certain tasks / software multiple GPUs can be very useful. RAID's not completely dead, but I agree it's quite unusual in a PC. Most will use software RAID or have their hardware RAID in a separate NAS, but it can still have its uses in a PC.

There are lots of other items too that can be added like more nvme m.2 slots, more usb type-c outputs and streaming card etc
Why bother buying this? You can buy X470 boards for this much and this probably won't get ryzen 4000 support

Ryzen only has 28 pcie lanes and some are reserved so you won’t be able to use 48 lanes for pcie.
This could be useful though if you needed to have your graphics card in a lower slot for some reason?
I've had this board for over a year now and it has run like a dream without any issues, just remember to update the bios as and when one becomes available
Garbage VRM and overall average board. No idea why this is voted hot

Only slot 1 is x16, slot 2 is x8 and slot 3 is x4.
Seems pricey for the ageing X370.
