Around £30 cheaper than other places if 3% Quidco cashback tracks.

This is one of the better GTX 1070 models at a good price compared to current market prices if you find the GTX 1080 over your budget. It's light, cools adequately and IMO doesn't look too blingy.

As the card also isn't too tall, it will fit pretty much every case that isn't restricted by length.

Pre-order. Money only taken just before dispatch.

£10 Quidco cashback (3% on ex. VAT price) available.

Good luck with the diminishing multi-GPU support.
Serious question and I'm not looking into getting into political debate.

Is it worth buying at this price since weakening pound may mean that these will be cheaper at launch than in a few months time?

How soon do you need it? That should answer your question.

I've ordered a new pc today based on this.

Seems likely.

That's my worry and I promised 1070 to my son. We were going to wait for AMD launch and then till market regulates the prices.

Before today I was hoping that would happen by late August. He's happy to wait as the upgrade is not a necessity. Now I'm thinking it could possibly only get worse so thinking about pulling the trigger.

If Brexit didn't happen and supply of the 1070 G1 got back to normal then I think this card would be around £360 so around £30 premium / early adopters tax at the BT Shop price with cashback.

Since Brexit has happened I think £390-£400 will be the bottom price for this card for some time unless the GBP miraculously recovers which I doubt as we have a credit downgrade looming over the UK, many job losses and another recession. That much is certain.

I made the bet that the 8gb 480 amd will be £300+ by the time it launches now, which makes it less appealing than the 1070.

Previously I'd have preferred the amd as I don't really like team green, would like freehand as it's cheaper and think amd drivers will beat nvidia over the next few years due to the consoles being amd. I've never spent £300+ on a graphics card before either.
