I'm so mad I literally bought this card from Ebuyer yesterday for around 530 but now it's under £500!

I think it's a good deal.

You do realise that 1080Ti cards were going for £580 at Amazon not long ago and 3rd party blower types for £600. Also Amazon.fr has a 1080Ti Strix for £650 so I say wait a little and watch these drop further...

You can also get a 1080 blower for £470 so £30 for a better quality 1080 I thought would be a good deal.

You're probably right waiting is the best option. However I'm getting desperate to play pubg

Paid about £540 for this G1 card on pre-order when it first came out. Not impressed with it, quite loud, quite hot and one of the cables that connects the fan was hitting the fan making a knocking noise. At this price point the 1080 is dead, send it back and get a 1080ti.

I assume the OC represents the kind of person who buys them.
It is worth noting AMD Vega will be released soon at a better price point, so that may affect the price of 1080.

If you can wait a few days you could get something like this for around 460, looking at history price of this card if you wait it should be trending around 440-460 when the supply catches up.
