What's this particular card like? The gigabyte version I mean? Stay cool and reliable?
Trying to find a good card for my cousins first builds, looking to pair it with a Ryzen 3600.

Gigabyte cards are okay, they are right in between for quality so it's an average card, not bad or good.

Thanks, that's the 1660 oc, variant, is it pretty much the same as the 1660 super one you posted?
I just didn't want to recommend them a card without knowing if it was reliable. I built my first pc with a zotac rtx 2060, got a 5 year warranty with it
This is the lowest price I have ever seen these at, nice find!
Nooooooo bought last week :-/

Mine seems to get to about 70 degrees and is quite quiet although it’s in a dampened case. I can run everything in ultra at 1080/60 with my i5 6600k (no over clock). I’ve tried it on my 4K TV. At 1440p I can hit 60 FPS on high in Jedi fallen (drops a bit on intense scenes), 4K has no real chance at any setting.
Nice one thank you for posting. Ordered. This was the last remaining part I needed for my new build.

I had ordered the 1660 Super that was on here a few weeks back from Ebuyer along with all my other PC parts and they let the order just hang for days despite me asking every day until they told me the whole order was on hold until I picked a different video card. I was not happy with the service from Ebuyer so will not use again.

Thanks for the help, my mate has a 4k tb so might play some games at 1440p
Thanks to all those that have helped me decide over the last few weeks in dm or in the posts.. I finally bit the bullet lol

Fair one, cheapest I've seen is £82ish brand new
Went for the mini version of this card from their eBay site. A little more expensive, but I have a mATX case.
Can't apply coupon.
Tomahawk max is what I got. Seems good for £90ish
I've been biding my time for GPU prices for over a year now, this is a great price for already one of the best perf/price cards on the market! Do people think this tier/the tier above will get cheaper soon? I want to buy into the next gen of ray tracing, but those cards won't be out until June at the very earliest, and I'm rocking an R9 380 circa 2015 and my patience has worn thin lol
Great price. Paid £216 for this card just over a week ago.

It depends what you want from the card, if your looking to jump to 4k gaming in the future then you will need something in the bracket above this, if your looking at 1080p this should be a solid card for a good few years, my friend has a 750ti and that has only just started to struggle with the likes of the new cod game

Believe me I've lamented about which tier of GPU to buy into and I'm aware of what's on offer; I have a 4K 60Hz monitor and have decided on 1440p gaming for the most part, which this card is capable of (Digital Foundry).

It's more about whether I wait for further price drops, although new hardware launches which can cause this seem some way off. My aim is to get the best value for money GPU with sufficient performance, before probs buying a 3060/3070 down the line when they are affordable, which can handle anything at 1440p max/ 4k, with the additional feature of ray tracing. Cheers!

Yes this is a good entry card for 1440p as long as your aiming for 60 fps but not always at ultra settings. I don’t personally think it’ll drop much more and it it does will be minimal. I purchased it as a decent interim card before the 3060/3070 which will be my next major upgrade.

Ah nice, knowing that someone else is planning on doing the same gives me confidence! Paying disproportionately more for a better GPU now doesn't seem to be the play, especially with the capability of the new consoles being unknown as of yet. I also have many older games in my backlog, which should run at 4k on this card! Cheers
I bit the bullet on this, thanks guys! I believe I bought the last one, it says there are 0 available now...
Update: There's more stock, price is now ~£194 after code
