Is there much difference between the various manufacturers of the GeForce 1660 range and do you think the 1660 Ti range is worth the extra shiny penny?

The Super is pretty much as fast as the Ti. My son just got one of these last week. Amazing little card. It boosts to 2000mhz out of the box.
Why this is expired?

In anticipation of it going freezing because of the postage! ahaha.
I wouldn't order it from Very, had some issues with the laptop that I have purchased from them. Amazon have same price but it's temporarily out of stock.

Probably the cheapest price for this card at the moment. Heat added. Only a few quid cheaper than other sellers though.

I'm waiting on stock of the gaming version, to hopefully make the prices for that model more competitive.
Heat added. Don't forget 10% off for new account customers. I applied successfully for an account, apply the WELCOME discount code taking £22 off and you can still pay immediately using a credit card. So £201.98 for me £219.99 - £22 discount + £3.99 delivery). Happy with this price for this card right now
This is the same card that was £20 cheaper from CCL a week ago.
Even at £200 like it was in the past week, as per value (pound/fps) is not worth it comparing it to the 1650S ~ £156.
Deals like this make me think I made a mistake getting a 1070 gaming x 2nd hand for £190

Well, yes. But my card hadn't failed a week ago or else I'd have bought that card then. Pricing goes up and down. It's about posting deals at reasonable prices you can buy right now, not about "buy this item for more than it was 2 weeks ago".

True, but I figured the 1660S would have a bit more longevity in it than the 1650S, by the time it needs upgrading it will be time to upgrade the whole PC.

Yes, if you need it now, and it wasn't a planned upgrade, then fair enough.

This site is about post hot deals, deals where products have a good discount off their normal price. This would be more classed as normal price just now.
With very 30 off 60 could get this for 193.99.
It doesn't work can u please tell. Me Wich code did u use it

Views appreciated. Thinking of upgrading from a 970. This or a 2060, for casual 1080p gaming only?

The 1660 super. You can comfortably run 144fps in most games in 1080p on high/ultra.

The rtx cards are hideously overpriced because they support Ray tracing, which ATM is no where near efficient enough.

For example, enabling Ray tracing on Metro will slash your frame rates by 49%.

Here's a quick comparison between the 2 cards on high quality. Scroll down past the tables, text and ads and you'll find green and yellow bar charts of each card's performance in individual games on different resolutions.

I’m in the exact same boat, and everything I’ve found points to the 1660 Super as being the best value for performance boost

Ordered, from Amazon not Very, so just awaiting their restock. I’m not expecting too much change vs. the 970. The rest of system has just been revamped, going from an 8 year old i7 3770k to a Ryzen 3700X, and to be honest there is no noticeable difference on daily tasks. Benchmarks tell a different story but that is not real life.Still it had to be done!

I would assume that going from a 4gb 970 to a 6gb 1660 would provide a decent improvement.
That’s what’s been the limiting factor for me lately on games like Fallout 76 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint

About 2 days before, and it ended up being a dog at 1080p.

There are so many of them about as well once you start looking. Same deal - stuttering without throttling. At higher res' it does better. Luckily it was from a mate and I knew where he lived, so he took it back

Nice one, thanks. The triple fan card is 254 at the moment. Is it just the cooler that differs? Couldn't see any other difference

Hey,

Mine doesn't arrive until next week, but bagged it at 225. I can't see any out of the box difference on performance like mhz but I would say over clocking it would be more stable and thermals significantly better increasing longegivty of the card. Plus... More is better right?

Sorry I'm not an expert but I hope this helps
Out of Stock but price down to £219
