This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

  • Powered by GeForce GTX 1660 Super
  • Integrated with 6GB GDDR6 192-bit Memory interface
  • Windforce 2x cooling system with alternate spinning fans
  • Rgb Fusion 2.0 - synchronize with other AORUS devices
  • Protection back Plate

Windforce 2x cooling system

the WINDFORCE 2x cooling system features 2x 80mm unique blade fans, alternate spinning fan, 3 Composite copper heat pipes, heat-pipe direct touch and 3D active fan functionality, together delivering an effective heat dissipation capacity for higher performance at lower temperatures.

alternate spinning

the Gigabyte “alternate spinning” is the only solution that can solve the turbulent airflow of three fans. The biggest problem with the three fans is turbulence. Since the fans rotate in the same direction, The airflow direction is opposite between the fans, which will cause turbulent airflow and reduce heat dissipation efficiency. Gigabyte turns the Middle fan in the opposite direction, so that the airflow direction between the two fans is the same, reducing the turbulence and enhancing the airflow pressure.

unique blade fan

the airflow is spilt by the triangular fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface, effectively enhancing the airflow.

Why does the amount of fans matter? More fans - more noise?

Actually, more fans on a GPU usually mean less noise. Not a rule as it depends on so many variables (namely spec of fans installed), but generally 3 fans on a GPU will work at a lower RPM (and therefore generate less noise) to dissipate the same amount of heat of a 2 fan setup.

But it says in lambda tek description it’s dual fan too. Are you trying to make a post for a single fan or something? And the picture has just refreshed to the same one?

No, I thought it was the 3 fan because the picture shows that product, after looking on the site it says dual fan but has the picture of the 3x fan so I have edited the post to reflect that

As what @ualla said and also I think all the high end versions graphics cards have 3 fans - Gaming X Trio, Lightning Z, Aorus Extreme, FTW Ultra, etc.
