Have one of these, really good IMO... but the mouse wheel squeeks (LOL - yeah I know, Ironic :roll: ). It's just about bearable if you don't scroll too often with it.

shame this isnt a wireless one as all decent mice with back/ forward buttons seems well over priced

Bought one of these for my GF's laptop, worked well for 4 months then packed in (she uses the forward/backwards buttons for kebinds in games)

Apparently I cant return it

However, i paid this price for it then - recall it being the best price available. Good deal if you want a bargain, but as is with everything, you get what you pay for

Well if you only "get what you pay for" there's no point in shopping around is there?
As whatever you buy at a cheaper price will somehow have less value?

I just bought an external disk drive for £36, a few months ago, exactly the same drive was then reduced to £44, a few months before that it was over £55. So, the cheapest one is now less valuable than the ones for £55? All bought from the same place, not shopsoiled or anything. All with full warranty.

Excellent mouse, I have two of them from Play.

I have one also, excellent mouse

gr8 price,heated

Why?, can't you just return it to play?, or is it because play is located in Jersey they don't have to follow British consumer law.

This has been this price for ages. I bought it at this price in January 09 and it was good for the price. My only complaints were the middle button was hard to press and one side button was creaky (the side button is better now after 9 months of use.

Just as I was looking for a decent mouse.
H&R added.

Cheers, ordered one as I've been looking out for a decent wired mouse upgrade.

Mainly because the only returns policy i can find on their site is the one that says "everything must be returned within 28 days" (not verbatim)

I bought the 6800 back in April for £7.99.....specs don't seem that much different.....:S

I think my mouse wanted to be a little different, as per everyone else saying the mouse wheel squeeks well... mine grunts like a pig.

Good little mouse though, I love it personally.

I quite liked it until the left button started double clicking for every 1 click. Lasted a good couple of months though.

Just a different 'chassis' from what I can see. The funny thing is I … Just a different 'chassis' from what I can see. The funny thing is I posted that one a month or so ago it went cold because "you can get better for this price" :roll:

M6800 = optical
M6880 = laser

EDIT: Not sure about that actually, different sites list different specs...

That is why I'm like 'why is this hot?'...

Plus the mouse I have doesn't have a squeaky wheel problem...:whistling:

I got the Gigabyte M6800 (this one is the M6880) a while back. In short, it's awesome.

I can't fault it - and it looks identical to this one, except not quite as shiny (the gigabyte brand on the top of it has been worn off due ot use, actually - mine has a rubber top, so that was to be expected).

I bought this mouse over a year ago. Its worked fine and is a great mouse.
5/5 from me.

Play, like many "UK" online businesses are based in Jersey and therefore operate under different jurastiction. If your item is faulty after 28 days you can only seek repair/replacement from the manufacturer directly, as in accordance with Jersey law - Play don't have to give you the time of day. It's legit, but sneaky IMHO.

Anyway, this mouse is very good on all aspects, however it stops responding once every few weeks and I have to unplug it and put it back in for it to work again. Could be my PC though I guess....

I have one of these too, miss it terribly at work when I get stuck with the old style ones. The thumb buttons make surfing a lot easier. Well worth the buy. H&R
