I don't know anything about computer toys, but it seems to be about the best deal around.

£10 cheaper through scan website
It's a great price for an X299 motherboard. It's just a pity that the current CPUs for it are so underwhelming and/or overpriced.
Great board at a decent price. Heat
That does look like a styling motherboard!!
Does anyone have any experience with this board? It's £170 on Scan and looks to be pretty much what I'm after for a new build.

Is this really worth it 180? Surely anyone wanting to put a gaming machine together today would buy a i5-8600k.

I've had recent dealings with Scan's motherboard returns. The process has taken over a month and certainly has ruined my image of scan versus Amazon for saving 5 quid here or there. I'll pay Amazon 5 quid extra as they are no gripe returns.

Scan are notoriously bad with motherboard returns. 3 months and the refused to fully refund a motherboard that arrived DOA.

Also had a PSU blow up and they wouldn't touch it cause it was over a year old - I was sure there were 2 years warranty but they claimed it was only 1 year?

I'm staying well clear of Scan these days - they do have a deal every now and then that's tempting, but then I remember how they treated me and I have no trouble closing the browser tab!

Good to know. They're floating around this price point so no rush for me to buy.

I doubt that.

Thats just rude to answer my 2 days old comment this way, when You clearly posted this scan through amazon offer at around £184, and now just update price.

This person has become rather too fascinated by me, some might call it love.I'm not going to say who it is, or that I'm not flattered, but I don't feel the same way.I've reluctantly made that person (again, I'm not saying who this odd person is) a member of my ignored-list.

Seriously, grow up. Admitting Youe were wrong is obviously above You. Yes... Its better to keep digging in my profile and using mistype

Btw. Great logic... Fascinated by You, while u are the one checking my profile again...
