Yeah according to HUKD standards it has to be £19.89 to call a “misprice”.

Cheaper direct from Scan even if you have to pay for postage.

Socket 2066...
A previous gen i5 (quad core) CPU for this socket will cost you at least £215. Don't see why anyone would buy this, when you can buy a current gen i5 with 6 cores. But happy to be proven wrong.
Yeah... not everything is a misprice. Sometimes things are just cheaper? If it was 43p, yeah, probably a misprice...

Ah I didn't see that :).
no PCI4 and PCI5 going to be announced early 2019
cold, no RGB
Had my eye on this for a while.

Great price.

Thanks, OP
why on earth people spend that much on motherboard ...every single benchmark prove that there is zero difference in performance between motherboards .. and paying minimum extra £100 for useless features is pointless

This is the entry level price for this platform which is for prosumers. i.e. workstations for amateurs!
The extra features are useful for this class of platform such as quad channel RAM, supports twice as much RAM, more PCIe lanes depending on the CPU etc.

Blame HUKD more than likely but just go to Scan and search for it. £191.48 plus postage if you don't get it for free.

£196.97 delivered from Scan if you pay for postage and that's next day with DPD I think so cheaper.

Well, i felt pretty stupid when changed my rig d
From fairly old mid range of X99 Asrock killer to super duper z370 aorus 7. Asking myself why my HDDs are not detected. Turns out using NVMe ssd limiting sata ports to 4 out of 6! Like it wasnt enough, one more stopped working when connected my PCIe sound card... It is worth to consider x series. Iam not saying its for all...

i5-7640X is £140 at OcUK but the I7-7800X 6 core at £250 deal has finally ended.
The Coffee Lake platform is a dead end that has no upgrade path beyond 6 core whereas this scales to 18 Cores now and is due to support a further range of chips fabbed at 10nm.
It depends want you are looking for but this is a decent enough platform if you require what it offers.

There were 20 in stock so it's likely to be a pricing error.

I assume so. Bad luck if they cancel, if not everyone who ordered made a very good deal, fingers crossed.
£165 Ex vat, company will be happy Just had confirmation of delivery for tomorrow. Quick question, please could anyone point me in the right direction for the fastest possible processor for this mother board (can it handle 8th generation?) and same with the ram and graphic card, last time I build a bare bone was when core 2 duo released

It only supports theses CPUs: gigabyte.com/Mot…-10

However my status at Amazon also changed to "Dispatched" - The estimated delivery date of your order is 23 Jan 2018
