Anyone here know how badly the 24gb limitation affects the image quality on the PS5 at 120hz? Not sure if I should go for this or wait for a deal on the Samsung G7 which apparently doesn't have this limitation.

When connected to the PS5 at 4k 120Hz the chroma subsampling will be 4:2:0 compared to 4:2:2 on higher rate monitor.

There won't be much difference at all, text and edges may be slightly blurrier but that's really it.

Take a look around YouTube to compare the difference between 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 modes.

Anyone tried to register their monitor in gigabyte website?  Asks for a 4 digit ‘check number’. Can’t find it anywhere!  Any ideas?

Maybe I don’t need to register to get the 3 year warranty?

I’ve just set mine up and wow! It’s amazing. The best monitor I’ve ever had. Uniformity great, black levels almost unbelievable for IPS and all the features you could need with 2.1, KVM (which works great!) and USB-C. Honestly, It’s astounding and I am a display snob.
Got a PC, Mac and Series X set up with it and it doesn’t miss a beat on any of them. Colours really pop too. (edited)

Thanks OP. Got one!! Yipes…that had to be a quick decision.

I had shortlisted an lg 27UP850 but have gone for this. It seems to be a better all rounder. Particularly like the refresh rate, response time and variety of ports. 28 inches is also a bonus.

Hoping it’ll be solid with my new M1 Mac Mini mixing up movies, office, video editing and a bit of gaming.

Please tell me I’ve made the right decision.

You have but be aware that ANY monitor outside the Apple eco system will seem a bit off colour wise unless you’ve exclusively used other brands. I absolutely adore this monitor (as my below comment expresses) but I did need to create a profile and calibrate the colours to get it similar to a MacBook Pro screen or a studio display. The display does lean a little to the yellow by default

out of stock but you can still buy it at overlockers. (edit - seems to be in stock again)
    hotukdeals.com/dea…263

I used FREESHIP4U to get the delivery fee removed bringing it down to 399.95 on overclockers, I'm not sure if it will work for everyone but I thought it would be worth mentioning. (edited)

Got one delivered the weekend. Going from a 34" 3440x1440p and upgrading from a 3080fe to a 4080 the detail in game is just amazing. Took some tweaking on the monitor and on the Nvidia control panel but it is an incredible monitor for the price.

Genuine question - with the added power of a 4080 why not run DLDSR to increase the detail level at 1440p rather than drop more cash on a smaller screen?

Manage to get it for £376.00 with 1% tcb lol
Weird that I contacted Currys to pricematch Overclockers and they rejected me over live chat. Absolutely stupid
