ah they are already out now, and you are full of it
Sorry but cold for me, when the evga ftw 1070 is basically the same price

The Gigabyte G1 is about £30-£40 cheaper than the EVGA FTW (pre order) and clocked faster, why would you want to pay that much extra for the EVGA?
these 1070's are way overpriced in my opinion

I see a lot of comments stating these cards are overpriced, and i do agree the costs are higher than we were expecting, but they are cheaper and faster than the 980ti's and with increased driver support they will get better and better

gigabyte is trouble free together with msi, they are UK based and will cost a little to send to them, if you lose the receipt or you buy second hand, you can sell for more as the warranty will be passed over to the new owner. Also, in the eventuality, they will put in account the serial number and when that was produced in the event that the receipt is lost.

They are cheaper than cards that are not good.
so which is the best to 1070 to go for? in terms of performance that is, i remember MSI's 970 was considered one of the best at launch

I wouldn't say trouble free, sure the 980ti was known for coil whine, yes great cards and company, I'd still go evga for the warranty which can be upto 10 years vs 3 years with gigabyte. I know cards like these it is down to preference with performance vs support when it comes to EVGA vs. Asus vs. MSI vs. Gigabyte

Regardless, it should be in the £330 ballpark just like the 970 was at its launch.
It's the same second tier down sku and should be priced accordingly. But the whole lineup is askew. Just look at the price of the 1080, even more expensive than any other card at launch (excluding Titan's). Ngreedia.

Rooting for AMD just like every sensible consumer. Competition is sorely needed.
Sold out sold out, coming soon coming soon, whats the point in releasing these new cards if no one can get a hold of them?
