The cheapest it has been on Amazon so far, also comes with a free Rocket League download, seems odd how it says pre-order though??

The gigabyte one is passive at low loads whilst that MSI one has a min 50% fan speed. So if noise is a concern the Gagabyte would be a better buy
Had one of these ordered from flubit only yesterday for £189 (plus £9 cashback).
I was super happy, and (once it was dispatched) was going to post it on here.
Turned out too good to be true; the supplier(armcoshop.co.uk) was BSing, advertising stock they didn't have. Order cancelled.

Worked out for the better though, as last night I spotted a Palit 6GB 1060 for £178 in the Amazon Warehouse!
Fingers crossed it turns up, and isn't broken..... 'cos GPU prices are all kinds of crazy atm.
Prices have shot up ~£50 over the past month, even 2nd hand on ebay has been affected.

I hope it's just a short term supply issue, and not what we can expect long term from Brexit..... 'cos 30% inflation will completely cripple this country!

Incidentally, if I were spending ~£200, and was willing to wait a week or two to get it, the 4GB rx 580 is probably a better buy than the 1060 6GB.

- Less vram, but enough for its performance envelope,
- Significantly better dx12 performance, and comparable in almost everything else.

Last I checked, Novatech had a 580 4GB on pre-order for £205.

:edit:

Or if you don't mind Sapphire's budget model, £195

It doesn't make any noise, inaudible. If you cared, you can make a custom fan curve.

It does make a noise, I owned one. You also can't set the fan curve lower than 50% on this model.

I have one, and i cannot hear it.

Edit: even just went to check now, put my ear near the case, fan speed 49%, pretty much silent like msi cards are.

I'd also ordered one of these of Flubit, ordered cancelled almost immediately and now a different supplier shows on the Flubit item page. Every other order I've made through Flubit has been fine so I'm inclined to believe it was the supplier screwing around rather than Flubit. I managed to pick up a second hand EVGA card which, with their transferable warranty and good customer service, is as good as a new one as far as I'm concerned.

Sweet, so you're happy with a Skoda instead of a Focus because they are both cars.

Don't confuse people with different products, regardless of your own decision that it's the same, when in fact its a completely different SKU.

If the Focus and Skoda have the same engine, drive at the same speed, use the same amount of fuel, and are both hidden from view at all times..... Then yes, your analogy is accurate.

What about the ride comfort and tactile response, would they be the same?
