That went quick

There is another 3rd party seller selling for about a tenner more, if you trust these sellers.

It is worth to check everyday morning time if you have time cos often stock comes back. So probably can get one next time just keep open eyes on it!!

I would be weary with the non Amazon sellers, you may or may not get your item. If you pay through Amazon you'll at least get your money back but it will take up about 2 weeks of your time...

My mate ordered one and apparently it's been shipped. We'll see what happens.

I ordered one as well but from a UK seller. It looks a bit strange as well but see what's coming and how. If it's sealed and says on the box what gtx 1060 6gb wc2 OC then who cares. Besides there's amazon money back and return guarantee as far as I know.

I ordered one on 30th December which was shipped 31st...

No tracking information/details and still no product. I still have 8 days until estimated delivery before I can file a claim.

I wont be holding my breath...!

My buddy used a credit card through the marketplace and I know he's not going to be skint in the mean-time. Fingers crossed it's legit, but worst case scenario it's a charge-back. Out of interest, was this the same seller?

It's questionable with some of these 3rd party sellers, if you look at a listed product then visit their storefront you will find their main products have nothing in common with what is being listed.

There is always the amazon money-back guarantee that's right... although i'd still be dubious as to whether this is 100% foolproof - why would a seller try it on otherwise?

The reason i say that these marketplace sellers are dodgy is that, in the last few days, a handful of sellers have been posting prices for this specific card in 'new' condition. All have been bookstores with very few recent orders. All have also stocked several Blaupunkt 40" TVs for no good reason.

The products dont fit the store inventory type, and the pattern is strange. I just don't think they're geniune, although as i say i can't imagine what they have to gain from this, unless there's something they can do to get hold of the cash by stringing the customer along until after amazon have passed along the funds?

Edit: What Kabs said :P

I see. That`s not good. Shouldn`t Amazon screen then these kind of sellers and not let them sell anything on their website?!

A claim through Amazons A-Z guarantee should be sufficient but there is always a chargeback as a backup. Mine wasn't the same seller but similar offer, £190 plus £4.59 postage etc

Have since purchased an Asus 1060 OC 6gb from laptops direct so should the Gigabyte card arrive I'll offer it here first!

haha 2 weeks - I ordered one of these from Laptops Direct on 12/11 and I /still/ haven't seen delivery or a refund. I have more confidence in this dodgy seller than I do my support ticket at Laptops Direct.

Getting one of these at <£200 is worth 2 weeks of potential refund hassle.

Thanks! Well let`s hope we got the GPU! (or worst case scenario the refound!!)

I'm surprised about laptops direct, I ordered direct from them and was really pleased.

Keep pressing Amazon

Has anyone already got delivered their item from here??

I got dispatch on Monday saying that should arrived from 13th till 25th of January. Oh dear!

interested to see if anyone gets anything from this!

Ain't gonna happen guys. If it does I'll gladly eat my metaphoric hat.

3 days till I can initiate a refund, seller feedback is getting worse each day...

Yep, my buddy is still seeing a no-show on this one. Really sorry for sharing this one now I feel terrible people have wasted their time. So I assume they are taking legit shops with good seller feedback, hacking them and then offloading imaginary goods. How is Amazon not flagging any of this stuff? It must cost them a fortune.

That`s exactly what I think!!! Why the hell amazon let these scammers do stuff like that on their site which is meant to be `trusted`!? They should screen or do something about it. Or maybe they are just so damn rich that they don`t bother paying out couple of thousands after these ****. I haven`t got anything either. Gonna have to file a claim or whatever. Disappointed.

Just been given a refund by Amazon. I didn't even contact them, so presumably they must have spotted the issue.

"tysonbooks".. Looked like a legit book seller before what looks like they were hacked.

Finally crossed 3 days over expected delivery date and initiated A-Z claim, Amazon acknowledged it within 25 minutes and refund came through with 3 hours.

The right outcome but 3 weeks waiting for something which was never coming is frustrating.
