It's that HOT he got the price wrong!

You have to go through the today only page along the top bar to see this price.

I may have bitten at 1.3k, but at 1.6k.... Nah.

Shame... What's going on with the price?

Good bit of kit... although got a aorus V3 plus... Same sort of thing.. unfortunately mine is just gathering dust.. but it's a good deal at 1.3k...

If portability is a requirement..

Can you link to another gaming laptop with a GTX 1070 and I7 at a better price to stop this being ***HOT***?

It's a laptop. Compare like for like. Travelling with a desktop isn't generally feasible. Common sense appears to be a lost cause.

I'd vote cold just for that reason.

Can any of the cold voters show the same spec at a better price?

Seems nonsensical. Surely the whole point of this site is to share great deals? Your opinion of the title doesn't really change the value of the post, does it now?

Not quite sure why so cold. Don't think you'll be finding a gtx 1070 laptop elsewhere for this price

Maybe not, but my vote does have the ability to change the heat LOL.

I didn't actually vote btw, but putting something like ***hot*** in the title is pretty presumptuous and irritating to a lot of people

Personally don't see the point in gaming on a laptop, can't compare to a desktop experience if that choice is available to you. I don't see many people travelling around with beasty high powered laptops either, probably because the price is ridiculous just for the sake of a little entertainment while on the go

If you don't see the point, why comment? My laptop (AORUS X5V6) with GTX 1070 outperforms my desktop with a i7-4790k and GTX980ti. Since I travel a lot I find it great to rock up in a hotel room and smash PUGB or fallout 4 at ultra quality and awesome fps. So it would seem a huge amount of others do. But if it's not of interest to you, why would you notice those that do enjoy it?

After doing the research before posting and it being a special offer it was analysis that made me state it was hot. Would you suggest it's better not to tell people what you've discovered?

Plus by the time you minus the cost of a monitor, keyboard and mouse off a PC. You're looking at about £1050 on the desktop. Which is not then portable in anyway.

It's £1,399.98 now. Is that a good price to pay for this, or should I wait for something better on Black Friday?

I can see the point of using it if you travel a lot and end up staying away from home , genuine question but do you take a mouse with you? Can imagine track pad is a no go for most games.

Because I genuinely don't see people on their laptops , usually just tablets or phones , not that I don't notice , just that there isn't many around it seems.

I brought up my initial point because you would be surprised how many people will use a laptop as their main machine even if they don't travel.

IMO laptops are really overpriced

It's a stonking price for the spec from a respected gaming company, I suspect this is a 'Black Friday' price.

Looked over battery life/keyboard, seems not to be a perfect fit for me. However, this seems like a great deal, no idea why it has so many 'cold' votes

£300 is a very good saving, but the £196 fujutsu on today only is more my budget. voted hot though!

As far as I can see its the same thing? Only difference I can see is that they went the informative rather than attention grabbing route, which rarely works on here.

Actually I did, I just wanted you to confirm you had multiple accounts on here. Boom!

Joking aside though, it's interesting that the overclockers deal had more heat as they seem to be more hated than scan for the most part. Anyway, best of luck with your deal hunting in the future
