Gigabyte RX 590 GAMING 8GB GRAPHICS CARD £149, £159 delv.

Many will be familial with the Fat Boy coming in at £160, meanwhile this card usual comes in at lot higher which it is elsewhere £175-£200, but just had a nice price drop down to the fatboy level.

#if you get free delv at overclockers, even better.

I have heard that gigabyte cards are great but that they use really nasty sleeve bearing fans which they really noisy and fail quickly, pity as the boards are really well built
Save ya money and put it towards a rx 5600xt

This was my dilemma! Went for the £220 5600 XT on Amazon the other day, just need to wait 1-2 months for delivery now
Make sure you update the vbios of the 5600XT after installing, if there's one available. Basically free performance. Otherwise, overclocking it yourself is another option, if a vbios update isn't available.
What is the cheapest/best value card for a compatible ray tracing card?

I could only find this on the bearing but this is for the triple fan windforce so no idea if it's the same or not.

Suggests they use double ball bearings. Don't know if you have any more info?

Unless you don't mind <30fps at 1080p or below, you'll need at the very least a 2070 Super or 2080 for ray tracing.

My 2070 super gets me 85 fps in Battlefield V with High details and Ray Tracing on at 1440p. I probably wouldn't get anything less at the moment. My advice would be if you can wait then probably get the 3060 that will probably launch Q4 this year as it will probably have better than 2070 S Ray tracing capability but for cheaper. Otherwise don't get less than a 2070 Super.
How does this compare to the 1650 Super?

some titles the 1650 will come just ahead and other titles the RX590 will be well ahead. all depends if the game requires the extra vram. - when the super does have higher fps the Rx590 still has (%1 lows) better.. very good card the 1650 super on price/performance on launch.

Well you'll be limited with 4gb VRAM on 1650 super very soon, not by the chip performance itself. More VRAM means ability to set texture performance to max with the rest of settings to medium, and still get very nice picture, as textures size does not affect anything, but VRAM it occupies.

Yep these fans are the worst had them on a 580 until I put a water cooler on it and binned them

2060 does well too when not on ‘ultra’ ray tracing which is barely discernible anyway
