It is not the BEST price for Gigabyte Z390 AORUS MASTER but it is coming with FREE Gigabyte SSD which is cost ~ £50 elsewhere. Same price with Amazon but no SSD. The promotion with the free SSDs was for a bundles with CPU i7 and i9 expired few weeks ago. I guess Ebuyer have some SSDs left for giveaway.

Given how far behind intel are, thats probably a good idea. To get rid of these obsolete boards they should throw in an i9 free. And in all seriousness, i probably still wouldnt consider one then. But im sure there are some that would.

Why are these so bad? I brought my son one a couple of years ago with an I7 9700K and he thinks it's the bee's knees. He just bought an RTX 2080 ultra and loves it. He also upgraded to a Corsair 850 PSU recently. Do you think he should upgrade the MB?

They are not bad, at all! It's just the fact that intel has a competitor that is pretty much wiping the floor with them at both performance and price, buying one of these seems a bit stupid now.

It's still worth noting that for gaming, intel still wins.

Obsolete?? having another competitor on the market that is doing awesome doesn't make something obsolete it would just be stupid to consider one, it's still the best platform for gaming......for now.

Intel are behind? Last time I checked their cores are still more powerful than Ryzen ones.

The fact that they are expensive and you can't afford them, is another story.

You know, grapes are sour when you can't reach them.

I would buy anyday a 9900k over an 3800x, or a 9700K over a 3600x if money would mean nothing to me.
