It's cheap as these are the Rev 1 boards with the faulty Intel 2.5GbE LAN chip on them.

Fair warning in case you need to actually use it.

Intel firmware update seems to fix this. Great price!

Sorry but it doesn't, you need the B3 stepping of the Foxville I225-V chip for a fix, the firmware merely patches the chip so it doesn't completely break the LAN working at 1GbE speeds.

What board would you say is decent in this price range then? Up to 250 say. I was looking at this for my first build. I have preordered a 3080 and i was going to use an i7-10700k cpu
Nothing wrong with the board, just the LAN chip.
£20 gigabit intel nic job done - unless you have 10Gbe backbone and need 2.5Gbit LAN

Why would you pay £199 for a faulty product and then pay more money out to fix the problem. Makes no sense.
I was all for this board, but with Zen3 announcing 08-OCT it seems more sensible to wait to see how that pans out....
just ordered this. Due in stock October 11 - perhaps new revision od 2.5Gb Lan me hoping.
