£140.03 Now although OOS, I had this but returned it for the MSI Z690 Pro-A. This just didn't play at all with any form of RAM overclock. But may of been a bios issue, my ram or settings. The MSI just worked. (edited)

If it helps, my 5800x3D just arrived also. I did a lot of research and it seems the 13th gen architecture will likely be only supported for another year or so. AM5 is super expensive right now but will likely last a few years at least now. Think the 5800x3D is still that sweet point of power and value for money. You'd either be buying in to soon out of date intel tech or over-paying for similar spec AM5. Enjoy the CPU and re-evaluate when it's worth doing so in a couple of years

The board has very good VRM, plenty of ports and slots and Gigabyte has mostly fixed the BIOS issues for 12th gen CPUs. They probably didn't have much time to optimize the BIOS for 13 gen yet, so at least initially don't expect much of CPU and memory overclocking on 13 gen.

Z790 chipset has tiny advantages over Z690, they are 99% the same thing.

One minor issue with this board, it only has stero analogue audio out. Not an issue for many but this has put me off buying this.
