No problem mate, I was after a new one and for a decent plastic one you're looking at £5/6 anyway so Chrome is a nice touch
£7.50 for a single razor? Where's the deal here, this is terrible! Why is this being upvoted? Something really fishy about this

Numerous factors really. Chrome base with replaceable top, cuts down on plastic waste. The quality of the blades last a lot longer.

It's shiny. That's all that matters. Plus it's very good and limited edition.

Most razors have a replaceable top. Don't these still use plastic replacement razors, hardly cutting down a lot of plastic usage if it's just a chrome base?

I mean in the grand scheme of it you're cutting down 80% or so of the usual plastic? Don't know what you're getting at...

It doesn't really cut down on plastic waste, since most people already have a plastic one that doesn't actually need to be changed.
People that go for the shine would actually increase the plastic waste as they would get rid of their current ones.

Is it? I'd have thought if it was chrome without any rubber gripping on it (that I can see), it's going to be more slippy in your hand if you get water on it.

What's very good about it and who cares if it's limited edition, it's not a trading card, it's a razor. Are people collecting razors now or something...

Well plastic ones are often disposable so if you get a metal one and keep it it'll reduce plastic use.

But no, this entire deal just smells like a massive shill fest. Although if people are fooled by a shiny handle with no grip and few 'totally legit positive comments', a fool and their money are soon parted I guess.

Yeah mate I get you, it's like spending £90 on a keyboard isn't it? Fair play though.

£90 on a keyboard that’s madness.

On the plastic side Gillette have started recycling scheme for old blades and handles. It’s in misc but sure people can find it if they want to on the Gillette page.
Fasithater16/09/2019 11:54

That's not how slippy objects work

Well yes it's made of metal not rubber but it's actually not slippy if you want to get into it.

Go get a chrome handle with no rubber gripping. Put a little water and shaving gel on it. Grab it tightly. Come back and tell us the results of your experiment.
I like the style of it and I’ve got the money to buy it and so I bought one. I’m not sure that I’m a fool either. I’ll keep my plastic one in my travel bag for when I go abroad.

Did you read where I said it's not slippy. I wouldn't say it without knowing. People really are being toxic nowerdays. Demanding experiments to be done just so they're proven right. I would advise you to think before you press send. You are looking like a fool.
Thanks OP ordered.
Wow the shills are really out in force today. Gotta rack up those Gillette ££. Do they pay per comment or per terrible argument made?
If we are talking about waste I heard on the radio about toothbrush handles take between 300 and 600 years to breakdown and the solution, use wooden handles. Surely this can be applied to razors..

Yeah thats right, Pretty sure theres a brand called bulldog that uses bamboo, same with toothbrushes
Mind you, dentist drills might not be so effective.

Mach 3 is by far the most superior razor Gillette have ever done! ...nothing has compared since imo. The Fusion and everything their after has just ''tugged'' my hair out instead of shaven

Thanks for posting 1 ordered for hubby for Xmas it’s shiny it’s half price and free delivery 🏼
This would be a good deal if a couple of spare blades were thrown in.
Very poor deal.
I buy mine from Chemist4u.com
Handle and 5 blades £5.99 + £1.99 postage.

Thats not great either fella. Only reason this one is decent is as its chrome.. You're still paying £8 for your one, cheaper sets in tesco.
