This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

300g pack for just 25p - as against £1 for just 250g if you go for McVitie's, the brand leader.

Almost 5 times the price if you want McVities - just for a brand name. And just to pay for the huge profits involved, and of course the advertising.

Try them - you won't go back to paying 5 times the price for much the same thing.

I love aldi biscuits!!
Just try them if you have any doubts - and discover what a ripoff branded biscuits are. And even most supermarket own label!

So you could get 4 packs for the price of mcvities! that is moneysaving. I like the sound of eating 4 packs! one pack goes so quickly!
In this day-and-age, you'd think it would be 'illegal' to call your biscuits Ginger Nuts --- someone may be offended Maybe even a member of the Royal Family, whose recently had a baby and a Danny Baker scanal!

And Tesco and ASDA.
Think we should crowd source the best store brand alternatives into a database
I admit that I was an Aldi / Lidl snob and used to steer clear of them.

But I have now realised that I can get a trolley load of products for a lot less than Tesco if with their supposed half price deals.
Probably made by mcvitties
Their digestive biscuits are better than McVities too.
Did you not notice you couldn't get ginger nuts over a year ago, anywhere? There is one factory that makes them all and they had a fire thus the dry period. I had a preference for Tescos orange pack over them all, so just shows its all in the head

So many people have now discovered that! And it's hitting the others hard because of it.

Aldi and Lidl were once seen as downmarket, and to be honest they were originally, at least in the UK.

That's all changed now, and the well-heeled (with their expensive cars) are all in Aldi or Lidl (mainly Aldi, because they've been more successfully targeting them). Tesco, Asda and Morrisons are full of people without a great deal of money to waste, but happily wasting it because they're gullible enough to be conned by brands and naive enough to think they're looking down on the Aldi and Lidl customers. Waitrose is still a very nice place to shop, with largely very nice people, but so much of their trade has moved to Aldi that it's hurting their profits rather badly.

Funny old world, isn't it?
Who wants to grab my gingers nuts? Or munch on them? :-)
I agree this is a good price but I'm afraid I have to disagree with the majority here. I've shopped at Aldi since they opened. They are very good value for some foodstuffs only. It's all a matter of personal taste. I don't like these ginger biscuits as much as the more expensive brands but they'll do.

I'm not convinced that any of Aldi's Belmont and other own label stuff, with their very clever copycat labels tastes as good as what they're clearly trying to imitate. And as for Aldi veg. Most needs eating the day you buy it now, which wasn't always the case. Avoid the potatoes!

Poor Waitrose, it's as quiet as the grave most of the time, but at least the quality and taste of most of their fresh meat, veg and fruit is IMHO, much better than Aldi but also much more expensive. Waitrose, at least in Sheffield have made the big mistake in this store of stocking only a very small range of branded goods and pushing their own brands instead. So I often need to go to Sainsburys and Morrisons as well.

So heat for the Aldi ginger biscuit deal, but not for their taste.
I bought Aldi ginger biscuits for ages until I tried Tesco (Molly's). They are not so hard as Aldi's and same price.

Not really. That was an old supplier used by most supermarkets, and the reason for the Big Gingernut Shortage at the time.

Some time ago now.
