great price! will hunt down later
Good price but not a fan of this particular flavour. I prefer paying the extra 4p and buying the available flavours at b&m
Are these any good for keto diet? Most 'high protein' bars I have found have high carbs too which defeats the object!

On first glance they look ok, however looking a little closer they use Malitol as a sweetner which tends to spike insulin almost as much as sugar. If you're following a Keto lifestyle, I would probably give these a miss.

I got some on Wednesday. They had peanut nutter and the white chocolate ones. Was going to post it on here but someone beat me to it

Insulin spikes can bring on the munchies, so best avoided unless your willpower is unbreakable.

Certain sweeteners can stall weightloss and even kick you out of Ketosis. It's all personal preference though and as with all of these types of things your mileage may vary and the sweeteners can effect individuals differently.

Personally when on Keto I stay away from Malitol and most other Polyol based sweeteners except for Erythritol and Xylitol.

They must have changed the recipe as the ones I got from b&m had xyilitol

The grenade bars I got the other day all had xylitol. I tested my ketones via blood meter and got a little drop from 2.1 to 1.5

For Keto you use fat as fuel instead of glucose. Every time your spike insulin your body can't access the fat to burn. I tend to keep my carbs at less the 50g protein at 30% of calories as to much protein halts ketosis

I guess that's why they sell multiple flavours, to cater for everyone's different tastes.
4 other flavours available is m&s - Jaffa quake, peanut nutter, cookie dough (my fave) and Caramel Chaos. (All £2.50)
