This is not a glitch or a special deal as these candles are always this price in Home Bargains. I just wanted to let candle lovers know how gorgeous this candle is!

I am a Yankee Candle girl and have never been happy with cheaper alternatives that you can buy in Asda and the like. However, I bought this 12oz jar in Home Bargains yesterday and have been so, so impressed with it that I just had to shout out about it. My whole house smells like gingerbread and reminds me of Christmas :-) I will be buying loads more because the smell is so strong and nice that I actually prefer it to Yankee now! I have no idea what the other scents are like or how long this candle will burn for but people interested in candles should try it. I also am thinking of getting some for teacher's Christmas presents etc. Hope this helps someone x

I personally can't stand the smell of the gingerbread ones. They are nice candles though X)

Thanks for posting
I really hated the Yankee Gingerbread Maple as all I got was a strong cinnamon stink from it. I'll definitely give this one a try if it is straight gingerbread

Got one the other day and they're really good for the price.

Thanks you guys and I just hope that you like it like I do. I would love to know what the other scents are like if anyone gets them please let me know. I was so sceptical about buying it that I only bought this one. But I would definitely say it's a straight up gingerbread scent and I just love it! x

I personally loved the Wedding Bells Wickford candle.... fresh and delish

Oh wow Jordan! ten?! I like your way of thinking :-) x

I found a small chuppa chups candle in HB yesterday, and also a small gingerbread one. The chuppa chups was 59p, the gingerbread 69p. I've not even lit the gingerbread one yet but my dining room smells of gingerbread

Had these in my local home bargains too. Bought one as loved the smell. They also had other fragrances including wedding bells.

Most of them smell cheap and horrible to me including that wedding bells one but the gingerbread one stands out as it's the first one ive seen in the range that is actually decent. They are also doing a limited edition halloween one which smells really good too.

My mate says this gingerbread one smells so nice! I will be sure to buy a couple tomorrow. Thanks op

I love these too and some match the Yankee candle bonus xxx

Thank you op, that's good to know, as very often they can look the part, and there's no way of knowing

My partner picked up the Gingerbread one yesterday and we both immediately loved it. Smells really genuine which was surprising for the price. The Iced Vanilla Bean and Sweet Apple & Cinnamon ones are nice too. They also had Wedding Bells (disgusting) and one I can only describe as smelling like a granny's bathroom! I gave these two varieties a wide berth!

Got two on your recommendation and I agree, lovely scent and amazing throw, might go back and stock up!

Thankyou everyone for the love and heat X I agree with bluehd that the vanilla bean and sweet apple and cinnamon candles are really nice too. I have really stocked up today as I would hate home bargains to stop selling these as they are my favourite candles now x

I bought the vanilla bean and apple and cinnamon on your recommendation and I am so pleased because they are just as nice as the gingerbread candles x

Knew I'd seen a thread about this somewhere - my sister had two of them burning away merrily in her living room last time I visited (currently got a Kringle Royal Cherries one I'm working through) so look forward to trying mine.

Got the Gingerbread one as my store only had this or Mulled Wine (Forge Retail Park, Glasgow).

Could see a few on MSE and bloggers (generally) being very positive about this brand. There's a Strawberries variety on ebay listings, which I'd love to try - don't get to HB as much as I'd like.

Would be good to have a buy and avoid list of some of these cheapies!

I love to hear this, thanks Louise x

I've been burning this for the last hour or so - I'd say buy buy buy! It's glorious and the (gingerbread) scent is strong. Will definitely look out for more of these!

My local (Forge Retail Park, Glasgow) had a few others today. Not tried yet but £9 for 3 huge jars? Would cost a small fortune for Yankee equivalents!
