Ordered. Hope I get them! Tesco very good at disappointing. Heat

Cant go wrong with that price even if they are just back up headphones! HEAT!

do these have a 3.5mm jack or is it specific size for ps4 controller?

think it is 3.5mm but has extra connection for the mic. not sure if it could just be used as standard stereo headphones. would be good if someone could confirm. there are YouTube reviews of these

gonna give these a try... currently have some Tritton Kamas that hurt my ears after half hour as the cups are too small.

That's for talking to people with the other is more for sound whoring

bought these when they were £10 a few weeks ago, the microphone died within a couple of days

Don't have a PS4 but bought them just as a backup for the pc. Out of interest, does it have a separate lead for the microphone?

I'm confused about ps4 headphones. Would these allow you to hear the game so I could turn the sound off on the tv?

Yes, you have to hold down the ps button on the controller and the option to switch to just headphones no TV is there

Ordered the £6 ones thanks

£25 original Tesco price, ordered 2 heaaaaat added yup yup!

ordered. thanks for heads up

Ordered too, thanks

Thanks to the OP.
I've been looking for a nice set of cheap, over ear headphones for my PS4, these look perfect. I dislike any headphones that go inside your ears, I find them anywhere from uncomfortable to painful.

got mine today and must say decent headphones specially for the price. regards of using it on different equipment, it is possible but headphones only (no mic) as there is only one cable. I like this anti tangle cable design, but unfortunately not much length on it (about 1m)

Bought & collected from a convenient local Tesco Express. In review, my teenage son says "yeah they're good" which is about as enthusiastic he gets. So must me ok.

Picked mine up last night and tried them out.

They sound like a £6 pair of headphones, don't know why I thought they'd be any better than that. Not really enough bass or clarity for me.

Picked up mine this morning, perfectly happy with them and they are comfortable to wear, movies and music sound OK through them as well

They arent amazing.. but there as good as any other headset ive used in the sub £30 range

Collected one of both I've no clue so will have wait for my son too let me know if there any good THANKS x

For £6 not bad at all and if you pull the section where the volume control is it will mute the mic also

Could you explain how you mute the mic? When rolling down one way it stops to volume down i think and when rolling the other way it gets louder and clicks and just continues rolling, volume going up and down. The mic was still on the whole time too, won't mute. Feels like its broken.

Edit - figured out how to mute, however why does the roller continue one way instead of stopping?

Good to hear you sussed the mic mute and in respect to the volume either turning it up or down on mine it eventually comes to the max and stops, meaning you cannot keep turning it

Could you explain how to use the mute as I can't work it out - it just seems to rolls rather than push one way or another.
Ah, worked it out now - the whole unit slides out to activate the mic (not just the wheel). This handy video show you how if anyone else is struggling:

So before I open these things, can anyone confirm the headphones work fine on a computer?

They work without the splitter - just plug them in the Headphone jack / In and you are good to go.
