Good point - but even better to get it from your local distro repository if you are a good Linux person.
Well making long multiples of different ones is not the best the chap who came up with this idea thinks differently now... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4771194/The-man-responsible-passwords-says-advice-WRONG.html
Yeah, But I'd advise downloading from https://keepass.info/index.html as I don't trust that link above, unless you want targeted marketing spamming your inbox
Lastpass has been free for the last year or so including multiple device syncing. You only need Premium for the 'advanced' features like password sharing.
I also use keepass. Great non net based info encryptor. I use it for more than log ins. Crypto coin address details etc...
You're most welcome Willy. I bought mine for £9 as it's an excellent price for a great product.
Thanks pooool, looks good
Expired now but I think you can still buy it with extras for a very big discount: https://www.vladonai.com/allmynotes-organizer-notes-outliner-buy?coupon=GOTDXXXL
It's still 'active', and free?. And will be for the next 1 hour and 50 minutes+ too, so ... lol.
Would love this, been looking for something to organise my files and notes for months! sadly I only saw it at 3am as I had a final look online. Is it likely to be repeated soon? :(
I guess you just think this is a sham(poo) product then? :|
Spam , Spam & More Spam . That was my experience of Ashampoi . Never trust them again
Download is taking so long !
Never had much luck with Ashampoo free software. Keeps asking me activate everyone I use it. End up having to uninstall it.
Surely everybody has more than one email address, these days? Just give them one you don't care about. They won't accept a spamgourmet.com address, but there are plenty of alternatives.
Use crystal disk info to see if the drive is in a good enough state to work on. If it is bad you want to copy everything onto another good drive using something like ddrescue. Then work on repairing corruption on the good cloned one. Working on bad disk will further reduce its life.
Just had a look at this software. Looks like crappy low rent freeware.
Can this recover corrupted partitions / corrupted drives that Windows isn't reading / recognising?
thanks for the tips
No future support is provided, so just use temp / disposable email service to receive download link. Example disposable email service at https://temp-mail.org/en/
Missed it :(
sounds like you're always up for a quick Hampstead Heath
Go on. Be rash and put some malware onto your PC voluntarily. I once downloaded a Free IObit app and was hit with spam e-mails for weeks thereinafter...was it merely a coincidence that, before the installation, the e-mail address I gave during installing had never been used by myself before downloading the app...or were my details passed on to "interested" parties? P.S. OP. As a gay man I'd be quite thrilled to find unsolicited "maleware" on my computer...
Excellent software, it managed to find maleware Malwarebytes missed on some of our PCs
Yeah, there were about 11 'Suspicious' files which I Googled, half I found were fine, a couple of others were mentioned on 'virus' forums and about 4 or 5 that I couldn't find anything about so took a chance...I was at my wits end with this browser hijacker, never had something that has been so problematic to remove. There was a useful option to save the files as *.del files so I was hoping that would give me a bit of insurance (although no guarantee) but agree easy to delete something which you shouldn't...from bitter experience!
Happy it helped Remamber to ALWAYS look for more info BEFORE removing any 'Suspicious' items as you never know
Thought I'd post back a reply and my thanks. I tried running Malwarebytes in Safe Mode but it didn't remove Searching.com. As I didn't have anything to lose I gave Unhackme a go, also in Safe Mode and (fingers crossed) it seems to have worked. In addition to removing the 'Malicious' files I took a leap of faith removing some files that it said were 'Suspicious'. So relieved to have finally got rid and regain control of my browsers. Can't believe I was stupid enough after all these years to have downloaded it in the first place. I also found a PowerShell script that someone had written and posted up on tenforums.com last month that resets Microsoft Edge to default settings so ran that as well. Unlike Chrome and Firefox I discovered there isn't a setting to do this automatically, which added to my initial problems when trying to get rid of Searching.com. Although I don't use it Searching.com was embedded in it. Link below, useful if anyone needs to reset Microsoft Edge: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/25353-reset-microsoft-edge-default-windows-10-a.html
so it's basically malware bytes?
Hehehe, cool sense of humour, lol. Both UnHackMe, and Giveaway Of The Day have been around for many years (but Giveaway Of The Day more so!). :-) Both are good stuff's to play with. :-) Enjoy your software, lol.
In case you did not get the software, you can try the 8X full IObit SystemCare 10 Ultimate (1 year/3 PCs) Giveaway. Expires 09/18.
Thank You so much ...
thanks .. just downloaded 4.2 and the code works fine.
I think you'll find you're stuck on the event horizon of a black hole.
i got the 6 months code before but mine has 365 days left no expiry somehow and its been installed a few days
can't see any point in getting this Pro edn over the free edn
GAOTD has different software for free every day . However the software wrapper they use won't install on my win 7 machine, it is akin to malware and my security settings somehow stop it. Other give away sites manage to offer free downloads without this wrapper.
Very good software, I use it on all my builds
Installed in W10 Pro 74 bit for me. Info about that kind of error here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/error-installer-integrity-check-has-failed-common/c2e96749-6181-487c-80ec-3a0e24c32325?auth=1
I get "NSIS Error installer integrity has failed" when I install the software on Win10 pro:o(
There is nothing in the universe capable of keeping any Windows "PC at peak performance". The System Registry concept is so disastrously flawed. A fresh Windows OS install is the closest anyone will ever get to having a Windows OS "PC at peak performance"; the moment a user installs any Windows or third-party application which utilises Windows Registry is the moment "peak performance" starts it's rockslide to the floodplain. Windows is supposed to restore a damaged registry, but it doesn't. It has no idea as to which bits of the Registry are critical to the smooth running of processes. It's better and safer to do a clean OS install, download/install all crucial drivers/apps and then clone and store your hard drive. A few natty GUI animations, sweat-drenched progress bars, statistical numbers, a smattering of prayers and a free trial period may lull you into believing a miracle has occurred, but, I assure you, it hasn't. Without running a Registry "clean-up" option, try several System Registry restoration utilities and each and every one will report entirely different keys to clean up. Which goes to show why there are hundreds of maintenance utilities for Windows OS and only one for Mac OS: It's called Disk Warrior and I've only needed to use it half a dozen times over the past two decades.
It's a good program - been using it for a few months & no problems associated. You wouldn't see it as your main defence/ cleaner - but seems quite effective in spotting things that need sorting out
These "Speed Up your PC" apps never seemed to really do much of an improvement in the grand scale but turning off basic stuff makes it a little lighter.
I tried one of their utilities a couple of years ago and was persistently bombarded with spam and "Offer" pop-ups. The product looked good with a stylish GUI but the company is terrible.
152,335 people who don't know how to maintain a pc without using software that will hog resources.
on http:// download.cnet.com/ it has had over 152,335 downloads last week alone.
Great piece of software
good app i use often with no problems but i don't actually see judging by the comments on the site how this is different from the free version?
Worth mentioning it's 'only' a 1-year license.
I agree. Though I haven't tested and compared I have found that Word doesn't always bring through the formatting correctly. Found this article that discusses this and the issues you can encounter, they mention Lighten (though for Mac users for some reason) so I'm hoping this will overcome any shortcomings with Word: http://uk.pcmag.com/office-suites-products/40262/feature/how-to-convert-pdfs-to-word-documents
Thanksbfor heads up, splender. Restarted-no go. Reloaded-no go. Cleaned browser-no go. Dowloaded it again-again no go for me... Set up wont proceed, it says file is corrupted bla bla. Very confused
Thanks. Gonna have a go
File is OK for me , unzip easily though I have not run the setup.exe as yet. Also you can download again, like so? Downloading Lighten PDF to Word Converter 4.0.0 Your download will begin in a moment. If it doesn't, restart the download.
While download is complete, it wont open! Its says file corrupted. Need some help please?
Don't matter just watched a video.
How does it compare to blender?
I'm a LastPass user but this is a brilliant little freebie, thanks!
This used to be my password manager of choice, but when they put an annual licence fee I dropped it for lastpass, which I find brilliant for easy logins / form filling etc, but hey, for free who can complain?
I and many others have had NO issues with 'crapware' and this program is 100% safe and 100% good Very easy and issue free install.
Full of Crapware keep well away from it. I'm glad i didn't use my facebook account to share....never even got to install the Wisecare because of all the Crapware keep coming up I have an older version of wisecare and its fine really good program and i got it through App of the Day NOT Giveaway now you know why they are giving it away.
Your welcome merry Christmas
Thank you everybody , just trying to something free for Christmas .
Its certainly decent, but not as good as Open Office which is free anyways
Heat added op. Haven't heard the name 'Ability Office' for more years than I care to remember. Used to use it back in the day.
Yeah CCleaner is great, but I use Iolo System Mechanic and I think it is great also. Never had a problem with Iolo System Mechanic, and it has fixed lots of problems for me.
Be fair and don't post key public. Everyone can get it from the giveaway page.
Hmm not a good product for me after installing it I now get a regular message saying taskeng can't find a dll, when I open notepad I get a blank my.text comes up and bluestacks now crashes regularly! Then again I am using win 8.1...maybe a deseve it;o)
Still working as of 17/12 11:25pm. You get 182 days on the license.
It is still working 17/12/2015 , 09.22pm
