why bother commenting with that? what a load of tosh. Its a bit of fun for the kids. you deserve a lot of backlash!

For those who are normal, this is a very good machine and my lad has had great fun playing with it. Word of warning that you have to pick you sweets carefully, we tried all sorts so he wouldn't be disappointed with it. we found that Malteaser size balls and celebration worked fine but only if you put a small layer on the bottom so the claw could get underneath.

At the risk of backlash from people who disagree, I don't think it's an appropriate gift for a child.

I used to pretend to smoke candy cigarettes as a kid...never actually took up smoking for real though not sure your logic works! Many people just have addictive personalities, playing with a toy grabber for sweets is more likely to cause type II diabetes than a gambling issue!

what an absolute pathetic thing to say! wow if you have children they must live a boring life!

Seeing as nearly 100% (guesstimate) of kids have experienced an arcade of some sort, the few who grow up to be in need of gamblers anonymous is hardly relevant.
What next cluedo inspires mass murder or monopoly encourages rackmanism.

My little has had one couple years and it still comes out every few weeks so definitely worth the money. Maybe we should hide her piggy bank though just in case she turns to gambling

I would fill it with piranhas.

I use to pretend I was superman when I was a kid. You don't see me lifting up a car whilst wearing a nappy.

come on people. It's the weekend.

To be fair your comment seems just as brainwashed.

We fill ours with Lego characters as its great at picking them up, not so great at picking up sweets though and you need quite a few sweets for it to work properly

Technically this is not gambling as no real cash is involved.

I don't gamble myself and I do believe this country has a problem with gambling. Especially with the advent of online gambling making it easier for everybody to do it.

I'm afraid this toy is not the source of the problem.

That's actually a fair point, getting children started early on the gambling...as a child i used to love those 1p,2p machines...how much money would have i saved if i didn't waste money on gambling... i probably wouldnt' be on this site lol

Although it’s apparently spelled ‘rachmanism’, it’s still a word I was unfamiliar with, so thank you for broadening my vocabulary .
