Sure bnm has these cheaper it's worth a look though. Thanks

yeh wouldnt pay over a 5er for these... can get them for 4 quid now and again...

if any1 has one as well as the black airwick version i'd be interested to hear your thoughts...

airwick one only 9watts whereas this is 19 i think when i looked... does this make the smell stronger?

I've had both. One has a power switch on the unit whereas the other doesn't which was a pain for us as the socket is behind a unit. I think it was the air wick one that had the switch. Apart from that I didn't notice much difference. Wouldn't pay more than £5, they have been this price everywhere. I used air wick, glade and scentsy wax in mine.

The glade has a 20w heating element and the air wick is only 13w but it all depends on the type of wax you intend to melt.

The airwick is fine for soft wax such as soy or vegetable/soy blend wax as they are really soft and don't require much more than ambient to melt, in fact if you hold either they will actually start to melt in your hand due to how soft they are.

The glade is a great warmer for all wax melts including paraffin wax which Yankee tarts are made from (and the most common people use).
The glade is even better than Yankee candles own electric warmers as they are only 14w-18w depending on design and the lower wattage one can struggle to give a good throw as paraffin is a really hard wax to melt.
I personally use two 25w bulb warmers which always perform well but I have to be careful with soy wax as it can burn or scortch making the wax smell funky.
