For when you absolutely have to break light into its constituent wavelengths and have less than a fiver to do so.

This is made from glass, and not perspex like some cheaper ones. Reviews say that quality is generally good - heavy with few inclusions. On lovely sunny days like today, it would make a great ornament, or paperweight for the office. Or just use it to educate your kids on optical physics.

Or just make rainbows for the sheer hell of it! You won't find a decent glass prism much cheaper than this!

Surprisingly this was pretty low on my 'must buy' list... until now. I actually hate you.

Does this collect everyone's privacy details, or just your neighbours?

Same here - didn't know I needed one till I saw this offer!

Good deal for any DigitalRev TV fans out there.

What a saddo!

That website is packed full of crap I'll buy & use once, thank you, seriously thank you.

be careful where you leave these. unattended can cause a fire.

my brother left his on his speaker, came home from work and had an arc of burn across the speaker top where it had concentrated the sun like a magnifying glass. fortunately speakers are made of mdf.

Never even knew i wanted a rainbow maker, one on the way though - HUKD strikes again lol

I've fallen for it too. Ordered!

Cheers op. Heat added.

MDF, being wood, is flammable you know?

Why? Why have I bought this?

Better to spend this amount of money on a nice "gadget" like this then on a burger to get fat and sustain animal killing
I am ordering one.

Kudos on somehow managing to fit animal rights issues into a thread about a glass prism :).
Heat (& light) added BTW.

These are good if you practice Feng Shui.

thekanester, your description brought a smile to my face. Heat. And forwarded to someone I know who will love this (I always peek at DX deals).

Again , didn't know I wanted this till it appeared on here. Good work OP.

Might need two - I think from memory a second one can convert rainbow back into white light. Damn you OP. Good spot anyway.
