GLASSES - ANY FRAMES FOR £5 when you buy Lenses - limited to 2 per customer INSTORE ONLY @ Direct Specs

Click on the link and print out the voucher. I buy my glasses from them - take your prescription with you.

Pick up a designer frame, a titanium 'flexi-frame' or any other type and you'll save as much as £95. This offer includes all our usual frame stock - you owe it to yourself to come and see exactly how much you could save!

Yes, there are a couple of conditions: you have to buy lenses, purchase before 18th October and the offer is limited to two pairs per customer. Our usual low lens prices apply - single vision from just £25 and varifocals from £45 - so you can walk away with our most expensive designer specs complete with lenses from just £30!!

Because lenses for rimless are expensive to manufacture we have to exclude them from the offer but otherwise every single frame in-store is included! How about a £79.99 Guess frame for £5? Or a £99.99 CAT frame for £5?

Outlets are located in Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire

shame, nothing for us poor southerners.......we haven't got quite a few of the bargain shops, Netto,Home Bargains etc, still voted hot as would love to be able to get CAT frames for a fiver.

Voted hot. These kind of companies are getting their teeth into the overpriced Optician industry. Given they are doing designer frames for next to nothing just shows how much of a mark-up the likes of Vision Express are charging.

Just printed off voucher and realised is said Cheshire not Chester.
My eye sight must be going so need this deal, Anyway Crewe in Cheshire is sill Ok to travel to for this deal

Guess it depends on how much lenses costs, bit like some of the ebay deals that used to seem 'cheap' but then had profiteering via extorniate p&p.

It's impossible to work out whether this is hot or cold, unless a total cost is shown.

gutted !!! just spent 180 quid at boots opticians last week on buy one get one deal . on there is one of these stores in my town.

A good price for a shop, remember that you can get a pair for £20 delivered online though.

Never seen a pair of glasses with lenses for £20 delivered anywhere mate to be honest. Lenses normally cost at least £25 alone, never mind the frames.

Quite a poor selection of frames.

Wow - that's really cheap - dunno how they do it. Kinda reiterates the point I made earlier about how badly the large high street opticians are over charging.

someone i know, works at vision express, and they offer frames to senior workers for £2.99, or something like that, cost price... and i've spent in the past about 250 on frames, i did wear them for like 2years, with 2 insurance trips

i wouldnt recommend opticians online, they sell foreign specs and frames of low quality, or frames that havet pased health and safety, for example, my friend bought hugo bross frames online for something like 30quid, and when getting the screws tightened at a local opticians, he said the frames werent safe because they had unprotected screws facing the eyes...this wont be the case with every frame, but better to be safe then sorry

How do you print off the voucher? Does it need to be a screen grab?
I've saved it as a jpg and will print that out

Got mine online, delivered for £19, included anti scratch, and anti glare.

Can't fault them.

I agree with others about buying specs online. Hubby and I have bought from goggles4u for a couple of years now with no problems at all.
At £20 (or less) delivered I can afford to change my specs much more often than if I bought them on the high street.

selectspecs.com/che…es/

Very limited selection, but two pairs cost £13.50 delivered.

Just wanted them as backups for OH and myself. We're very happy with both!

Health and Safety has nothing to do with glasses, it's a trading standards matter to do with product safety.

That said, if they're selling within the EU/UK they will have to meet standards and can be forced to replace/refund if the product doesn't meet those.

I bought a pair of prescription glasses online from select specs a few weeks ago.
Total cost including delivery £8.99 !!!!
I have to say i'm impressed with them too.
I'm used to glasses costing me well over £100.
I'm certainly going to be using these kind of glasses stores again. This deal sounds great. Thanks.

i went to their store in coventry road, birmingham today to buy my first ever glasses...very helpful lady took me nicely over all the details...I had plenty of time to try different frames (I was the only customer in the shop for nearly an hour) and then bought a pair with the voucher...total cost £55 (down from £110)...very pleased

Just to warn anyone considering "Select Specs"'. I've had a very bad experience with Select Specs. I ordered some glasses for my son while he is away at university. They replied a week later to say they could not supply to his prescription. They had let me select his prescription online??

Then when i ordered some form yself it did not ask me for the delivery address and when the order confirmation came through they were going to send them to my son! I emiled then multiple times but they still ended up sending the specs to my son. They dont have a phone number! Now have to wait until Christmas to get them.........
