Fantastic, thank you very much!
Have some heat!! (£10 less than Amazon!!)
Emily Eavis should sort out the fools with the big flags and pennants.
A lot of the crowd can't see fa because of them mugs.
Ruins the coverage on the TV as well.

Only idiots go these days. Fools pay hundreds of pounds to be an extra in the BBC coverage.

Absolute no-nothings! Been going since before the fence and it has changed. Would still count it as one of the most life affirming weeks of the year. Missed out on next years tickets for for now, 2nd time in 20 odd years, totally gutted.
Great price, bought one for oh... Will keep her going till June
This is a lovely book. It brought back plenty of memories of my time spent there over the years.

Same boat here. Been going since before the fence too and it has changed/evolved but still the number one for me. 2nd time without tickets and am already dreading re-sale and if i fail i will be out of the country when it’s on.

I know it isn't quite the same experience, but volunteering isn't that bad an alternative if you don't pick up resale tickets.

That’s also something i’ve considered have done it before at a small festival, Summer Sundae and it was a laugh to be honest. Quite a bit older now though!

Last went 2009, they increased the capacity to a point where it became unpleasant

Sounds like we've been on some similar festival paths, as I did Summer Sundae volunteering a couple of times (including "spotter" activities picking out the silent disco headphones from up in a fire tower when they clearly hadn't policed the tent properly the night before!)

There's plenty of us older folk around the Oxfam campsite - whilst there are reasons for giving the volunteer option a miss, I wouldn't let that be one of them.

Yeah seems we have! Went a few times to Summer Sundae, took the kids too and they had a ball.
Will definitely be a consideration now then. There are a few people on the Efestivals site that have said it was a great way to do the festival but I was always very, very lucky in getting tickets so didn’t cross my mind. Any tips on when to apply or any info would be great.

Have been doing Glastonbury for years (and also a fellow eFester!) and was lucky enough to get tickets for next year.

Preordered this book full price when it was announced to get the signed copy from the Eavii. Only flicked through it so far but looks a fantastic read for anyone with any interest in the festival.
Sadly too late, sold out - would have been a perfect gift if I'd checked the app sooner! Excellent find
