Glayva Scottish whisky liqueur. Amazing tasting stuff and really good for Christmas presents.

I thought so. I rediscovered it at a Scottish wedding this weekend. it was £3 a 25ml shot there!

Cold..... really????

Love this stuff. I find it very similar to Drambuie but a lot cheaper at this price. Off to Asda tomorrow to get a couple of bottles in for Christmas!

I love Glavya. It's NOT whisky. It's a whisky based liqueur. Very rich, sweet and warming, delicious. (I can't bear whisky).

I don't know how anyone can find this similar to Drambuie! I like Drambuie too but find it completely different. I think Drambuie is closer to Jaegermeister, being very herbal and quite harsh edge. Whereas Glayva is very smooth and not herbal tasting.

I love Jaegermeister too. First drank it in Austria about 15 yrs ago and been addicted to it since.
Maybe I have Drambuie and Glayva mixed up as I only drink them at the end of an evening (senses a bit dulled by then) and never both in the same evening. I have both in so I'll do a comparison when sober!

Remember it is only a 50cl bottle

That's as big as they get!

morrisons have it for £14 but it's boxed

much nicer than Drambuie - well worth a try.

Try it long with ginger ale and ice - or cloudy apple - amazing!

Or over a nice plain vanilla ice cream for pudding...

I stand corrected. This is still a better deal though!

love it
taste like chrimbo cake.

I am Scottish and I can't drink whisky. I love Glavva, I can drink it straight with ice, Gorgeous in coffee or hot chocolate. I will definitely be buying this. Cheers op. Heat

Just went to my local Asda and bought a bottle, which I will try later with ice.
There wasn't many bottles left on the shelf, and I had to hunt for it.

Do try it without ice first. Straight, in a glass, warmed up a bit with your hand. I think it's the best way to drink it. I never understood the recent trend for adding ice to Glayva, Irish creams, etc. To me it just dilutes them and takes the warming edge off.

yes u agree. Room temperature is much better but that is just my opinion.
