Thought this was a pretty good deal for a single malt whisky. The website still states £17.99 but the promotion started in store today at £14.99

Hope this is of use to someone as a Christmas bargain.

Also, this will be available for 6 weeks from today's date

Edit: courtesy of foxykelli, i also forgot that bargain booze have been delivering an £8 off a £40 spend vouchers so could turn out to be quite an offer

It tasting terrible

It's actually not too bad. Initial impression was a bit insipid but that was right after a Talisker 10. Been back to it since just sipping away while working and it's actually quite pleasant.

For £15 it's an easy drinking Speyside bargain...

Wow. ..what a job...sipping whiskey while working!

There are plenty other local ones up here to try, although not at that price. dcs.ed.ac.uk/hom…tml

You think so? I found this hideous - better off with a nicer blended Scotch in my opinion

I'd say drinking diesel would be hideous - a bland Speyside is an inconvenience at worst Is it more of a bargain than Whyte & Mackay @ £15 a litre? Debatable...

Good find. Worth trying the glen moray 10years as well, think its still on offer at b&m for 20

WHISKY, not WHISKEY. FFS, this is happening far too often on HUKD. Since when did a Scotch Whisky become WhiskEy?!?!

Sorry from me also. Mr Angry here.:D

This is the only whisky I've had to let breathe, like a red wine, before it became drinkable.

@ £14.99 this is cheap heat added thanks op

Agree with most if the positive comments, not bad, and definitely improved in the glass. But don't drink a good one before it. It's only £15 for goodness sake. Heated.

Not had this for a while but this was satisfactory. Just as pleasant as a more expensive glenmorangie or glenfiddich

Or a plane pilot. Wait before I get you both sacked using the drug and alcohol policy with random checks.

Chill out! We live in a world of auto correcting smart devices. I don't mind a Glen Moray peated so I would hope this is better than others at this price point
