Great deal! Hot! I bought a Jack Daniel's 1l for £22 yesterday's for my friend's birthday. Since Sainsbury's never mention on their website when their offers expire, I legged it to the shop quickly
Heat OP. V tempted. Looks like they’ve rebranded too
I thought £25 was pretty standard for Glenfiddich 12. I've always seen it as the equivalent of Walls Vanilla ice-cream. The first point of call for anyone who has never tried a single malt whisky. I certainly wouldn't pay any more than that, but it's a decent enough for the price.

it is pretty basic, and not sure i'd bother for £25 even. so much else at that price point worth drinking that it's never going to be this, unless it's a favourite.
the 15 on the other hand is very, very good. Holding out for a £30 deal to replace my last bottle!
What whiskies & bourbons would the connoisseurs of such drinks suggest to a relative novice in the £20-£25 price bracket? Any suggestions or recommendations gratefully received.

Always a matter of taste but for me, for £25 I go for a Glenmorangie 10, Laphroig Quarter Cask, or Bowmore 12. All of these are usually priced a bit higher but you can usually find one of them for 25.
For £20ish I like Ardmore Legacy or Bowmore no.1, and bourbon wise at that price, Four Roses for sipping or Gentleman Jack for mixing.

I'm shocked you forgot to include Cardhu Gold.
