Bargain? How much is it normally?

Well over £100, think it's usually around £120-£130ish. Lovely whisky and a really fancy presentation box. Would make an amazing christmas present for a whisky lover if you have someone in your life you love enough to spend £90 on a bottle of whisky for them!

Any idea if you can buy this cheaper duty free at airport if leaving EU (connecting to Japan via Frankfurt soon)? Good price tho op so have heat.
Hmm, quite a few pounds, but it is a very nice dram... how to persuade myself... Ah ha, another glass of the 15 year old

The 18 has been £59 for the last month on Amazon. Don't think this is a bargain at £30 more.

The 18 is currently £65 though, and there very few 21 year old single malts under £90. So it has to be a hot deal for me.

I doubt it, but worth using your allowance to bring back some Japanese Scotch

Japanese Scotch :/

Often voted the best in the world at whisky competitions.

Don't knock it till you have tried it. The best Japanese Scotch is as good as the very best Scottish examples

Japanese Scotch. Think about what you’re saying

Japanese Scotch. Think about what you’re saying

Japanese Scotch, referred to as such, as although not made in Scotland, it is manufactured using the same traditional methods employed in Scotland, making Japanese single malt whisky one of the closest facsimiles to Scottish whisky available. Calling it Japanese Scotch helps people not familiar with Japanese whisky understand the style of whisky produced, which is acknowledged to be some of the finest examples of the type, often beating Scottish made whiskies in competitive tastings.

I'm not a massive whisky drinker, despite being a Scot, but what is a good buy over there for my whisky loving Dad and father-in-law? And what sort of price would I expect to pay in Japan.

I'd have a read through this. It maybe better to buy it outside the airport apparently flyertalk.com/for…tml

If your dad and dad in law are like mine, both big whisky drinkers, I'm sure they will appreciate the novelty of Japanese whisky without you spending £100s of pounds on an exclusive bottle.
As expected has expired now that Master of Malts offer has ended.
